It's been confirmed it's Rufus, which all the trailers allude to anyway, as does the location of the man.

But I think it is so beyond dumb to bring him back to life. Not only was he hit by energy blasts the size of him, he had the tower EXPLODE with him in.
Really stupid! Especially considering he still has the majority of his face as seen in some of the later trailers.

i think its the original sephiroth, and all the other people in advent children are sephiroth clones. (the unknown people that is)

The only answers i could possibly give are:
1. Sephiroth
OR 2. Some new character that wasn't introduced in the original FFVII.

4. They aren't Seph clones, God damnit. They're white haired men who resemble Sephiroth but have absolutely no affiliation with him. Or so has been said.

Sephiroth is also dead, but that means nothing.

I believe it could be hojo cause he rambled that he put JENOVA cells in himself which dont allow you to DIE!!!! case in point. Sephiroth, Lucrecia, and Jenova. plus i dont think it was sephiroth cause he has no respect for his clones cause in case you haven't noticed (crater disc 2) he likes to kill THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who says that? Who can prove it? As far as I can see, Sephiroth's hatred towards what he had hatred to (be it the planet, the humans, his creators, etc.) was so big that it could trespass the Lifestream (like a ghost, since the people that supposedly know about it say ghosts suffered something so big they can't leave and stay here) My guess is that the figure is Jenova.

I personally do think it could be Rufus... it may seem strange to say so, but in the game it described him as the undying... going through battles and coming out of them without even a scratch... could possible be him, just recovering and in charge of the left over clones or whatever these white-haired dudes are...

It is sephiroth. I'm positive.

First off I'm pretty damn sure it's Sephiroth. It could also be Hojo but it can't because of the height of the man sitting in the chair. The only way it could be Hojo is if he had bigger part in the plot than shown in the game and of course we didn't really see him die. Now from some other forums that I've read some people have thought that it could Vincent....but it's not possible. Now if you listen to the background music it's the One Winged Angel theme song, which makes it even more clear that Sephiroth is back to seek revenge.

Just for the fact, we did see Hojo die in the game.

na not really (talkin bout Hojo). But i think Rain Mcloud has a point, even if it is farfetched. It is quite possible it is him but i dont believe it because the dudes hand was pretty white and so was sephiroths. Sides i think that the clones (which i think they are but i could be wrong) wouldnt bow down to Rufus. Everyone think, who would the clones bow down to? and remember they have the head of Jenova, it says it in one of the trailers released. Why would they have it? and who would they bow to? (remember that sephiroth kept leaving jenova parts after jenova battles) something to think about...

It makes sense for them to bow down to Hojo as he is meant to be Sephiroth's father.


Don't forget all the spirits/ghosts in FF7, the Cetra spirits in the temple, Lucrecia's ghost, among others.
Combined with the fact that the motion picture is written by FF10's (INCREDIBLY SHITTY) writer.

He'll probably end the film with Cloud not existing or something. Either way, I'd say that FF7 is now ****ed up beyond repair.
