The Poulus Prophecy (Sign up)
Well as you may or may not know or have noticed, I haven't made a RP in a long time here as well as joined any. I removed myself from Remiem Temple for the better part of a year and had not planned on returning. However, I have decided to give the place one last chance. So I have a made a new RP, and we'll see how it goes. A lot of it is still in planning stages, though I have a brief history of the world, so...we'll see how it goes. You'll have enough to be able to start sorting out your characters. I am looking ideally for 7, myself included, meaning 6 others, for the RP. But most of all I am looking for devoted RPers wanting to really RP.
The one guideline I have for this RP is originality. You are not allowed to use a character you have already RP or RPB with before and any variation upon that. I want you to make a character up from scratch and as silly or dumb as that might sound that I have to say it, I realized a lot of people RP with only one character over and over again which really annoys me. Tells me that they don't even that the time to make up a new character for a RP, that they don't really care about it and just tossing something used in. I want something shiny and new, never seen before. I will be checking your RPing history that is available on Remiem, but I am hoping for honesty among RPers that you won't try to pull a fast one. If you do and I see it, you won't be accepted, you can try again with a new character though. It won't mean you can't RP just means you need to do some work for a change. Anyway, the world for this a fantasy world with some borderline industrialization (SP). Keep that in mind, so your characters will more than not be fantasy types. I am not requiring it, but it'd be nice to see a couple characters that are students in the magic school of my character. Otherwise you can be whatever you want from the races I have listed. There won't be any leway there though, you cannot create your own race and about the only cross breeding allow is with the dragons, I do not want to see half human half dragons, just isn't pretty to think about being able to happen. Ok ^^ Oh also before I forget, another thing about the originality is that you have a favorite weapon name or spell or what not, change it, that also does fall under not be original. The Brief History, I'll be add things as things come to me so be prepared for adjustments. Seeing as the brief history exceeds the character limit I must place it in a new post, it'll be easier that way. Last edited by Andromeda; 06-23-2004 at 08:42 PM. |

At the beginning there was only three beings, the Gods of our World, Linona. The Gods were equal in stature each one having their roles and not interfering with the other. Que’Ta, she was the God of the Sun, her light warmed the earth and lands. Ewuta, she was the God of the Moon, her twilight cooled the soul and mind in darkness. Poulus, she was the God of Nature, she hand was law and balance that all followed. With the Gods life was brought forth across the lands of Linona, the many of races that now inhabit the world were born in those early days. Que’Ta created her servants Que’Lonta and Que’Etona lesser gods of the Heaven Light and Earthen Light. Que’Lonta broughts forth the magnificent race of the Hemerataq, a winged race that found the skies as their home. Que’Etona was awed by the beauty of the Hemerataq seeking to create something of similar beauty she made the Fairies. Ewuta created her servants Nota and Monat lesser gods of the Shadow and Beasts. Nota within her dark shadows made the formless black into the Torel, a mysterious partially transparent race that loved the absence of light. Monat in all her creativity brought forth a grand race unlike the other they were the Dragon race, powerful and proud race that would be a founding corner in the creation of all other Beast Races. Poulus, who’s unbias eye saw and was pleased gave the strength and will to all the races to live and uphold the ever unspoken law of nature. She made numerous lesser gods from herself that held her ideal. Qours, Boran, Norean, Lorean, Ol’nola, and Xex’lous are the more commonly know. These lesser gods, called the Circle of Judgment worked with the Dragon race and brought forth the Centaur, Wolten, Kitra, the many Great Bird races, Giants, and Qera race who above all less cherished the earth and nature. With this all finished Poulus was pleased and said that she would place one final creation upon the land, the Race of Men who would be the balance to all. A race with boundless potential and limited life, their’s would be greatest of all within her eyes.
-- from the Book of Poulus – The ages of the Three Gods that watched the lands of Linona was a time of peace and great creation. The races were born and civilization became life across the lands. There seemed to be nothing that would disturb this era, but the smallest light can often spread across the darkness infecting everything. It began with the men, many of the other great races did not trust the men, for they were not created in such purity as themselves. They were flawed in many ways, the men knew great love and great sadness. The race of men had grown quicker than any of the other races, and their short life span made them desire things now and demand. They loved, cried and died, but they were all greedy, power-hungry and craved for knowledge. It was that greed that made them want what the other races had, their power was less than that of the other great races. It was then that the sparks of hate grew. Jealous of many things and especially the power of the gods, they wanted to show their stature and prove their power to the others. The men worked in secret using all the magic they knew and created a race they could call theirs the Halflings. The Halflings was a vile race, that was created for the wrong reasons and the bitter hatred that was poured into them made them dark, evil and blood thirsty. The Gods were displeased and angered by this abomination that was made and sent it away to a far away land. But the wheels were already set in motion, even with Halflings sent away the men knew how to make more and war was brought upon the lands of Linona for the first time. The hordes of men came across the lands of the other races in a mass they could not have imagined, none were prepared for the threat that men posed. The power of men was stronger than anyone realized, their magic had grown powerful in their hate and their swords sharper. All over the lands men were seen and the great races feared their defeat and uniting together they made one last stand together against the hordes of men. At the foot of the Mount Poulus, the battle for Linona took place. The Men and Halflings against the entire world of sentient races. It seemed that Men would be victorious when the Circle of Judgment intervened breaking their oath as gods not to intervene with the matters of Linona. Joining the great races they sent the men back fleeing across the lands. But before the battle was finished the men had one weapon left, a terrible weapon that would change the face Linona and history forever. They called it Linotherin in the language of the Gods, God Destroyer, it was made to kill the gods. Their greatest wizard, Gnervoan, cast the spell on Qours the leader of the Circle of Judgment. But the affects were not as planned, what was suppose to be overwhelm and seal the god did something, it infected him. All the evil and impurity that was from the men poured into Qours. There were Qours fell became tainted, the land darkened and twisted, a vileness unequaled to the men’s hate spread over the land. When Qours stood up again, she was changed, no longer a god, but a hatred and evil that wished only to destroy all. The great races were rent a sunder at her power. The other lesser gods tried to stop her, but the moment they tried Qours destroyed them stealing their power growing even stronger. Her power grew to where it infected Poulus and corrupted her too. Que’Ta and Ewuta fled in fear from the crumbling world leaving Linona to those that lived. Poulus became the servant to the power hungry Qours and the two sent death across the land, even the men were not spared from the suffering. All races on Linona feared the coming destruction that was at hand. They knew that it was the gods that turn the tides in the battle against the Men, and without the gods to challenge this Evil there was no hope. The men tried all the magic without success, nothing could be found to fight the Evil, when one person from the race of men stood against the Evil, a woman, she was blessed with the strength of Que’Ta and Ewuta capturing the powers of the fallen Gods within a stone that was left over from the creation era, it was divided and forged into seven weapons that were sealed across the world by Que’Ta and Ewuta, with that last of their power the Evil and Gods were lain to rest. Out of the ruin rose many changes across the races. Among the race of men a new revere for woman spread shifting the dominance from males to female, the view was quickly seen as men were weaker than women, they gave into their primal desires. They fought and started wars, while the women were the mothers that taught our children, they were peaceful and ended the war. Women quickly took place of power, a sign that the great races gladly accepted. In the course of the next few millennia a relative peace remain across the lands, but there was always an edge on everyone. The men grew angered with their second class position and many started up wars within the lands of men as well as other races. But they were quickly put down. However darkness began to cross over the lands again as whisper of Qours were heard. Rumors spoke of Qours left hand, a man who had been granted her power, a Dark Lord with the strength of a lesser god. He had no name, no one wished to know, but everyone could feel the darkness that was coming. War was returning to Linona and this time they had to be prepared. Efforts in magic craft and sword craft were focused on that created a sudden rise in new technology. A new strength was growing as powerful weapons were made, and magic of great destructive power was witnessed. Then the hammer fell, hordes of halflings, and other twisted races poured out of Mount Poulus swarming across the lands of Linona, however they were ready this time. Fierce battles all over Linona popped up in quick succession as all the races were under attack at once. Legends said that a fire of the united hearts of the great races could be seen across the lands as a spirit of their determination. The great races had won their first battle against the evil, but it was not defeated yet, merely surprised by their preparation a retreat gave a break to the great races. Time passed for a long period without an attack and the great races began to think that the crushing defeat that they gave them and made them fear their return. Arrogance infected their ranks, and their guard started to lax. The evil had never left, it presence always lurked and now it poured into the lands like a plague, dissention grew in their ranks as feelings of hate and fear and power began to be felt in the hearts of the great races. Weakness was born of these dark fruits and at their most vulnerable the enemy attacked and no one was prepared for the onslaught of mass that poured across their walls. Cities razed, people slaughtered, much of what was lost and again the great races feared defeat. An uncertain alliance was made with the men, those who had the strategy of war within them and developed armies that could match this threat. However, the men had been place at such a low level of authority that they were not prepare either for the fighting to come, it weakened their force, but of any of the races they had manage a small victory against the hordes. Now as much of the country sides burned, a final battle against this evil was planned, with the combined forces of Linona led by men they marched on Mount Poulus through the mass of halflings, Duenom, Dragons and other creatures, they confronted the Dark Lord. Battle weakened and tired, the army of the great races looked like they would suffer from defeat. However, before the final blow was fell a light from north broke the ranks of the horde, a women had once again come. She glowed with the strength of the gods, shone with a light of the sun and the soothing grace of the moon, her power made the hordes quake in fear fleeing back to the mountains as she walked forward to confront the Dark Lord. Their power clashed in a struggle at threatened to crack the mountain, the Dark Lord had been defeated by the light, but not before she was mortally wounded. A mist ran out as the Dark Lord died, her sword and staff pierced through his armor sealing away his power and destroying him. Her body fell disappearing into light as her sacrifice quickly became legend. Now once again the world was safe and changed. The race of men changed and their courage in the war earned them their pride back and stature. Even though men were still looked down upon and discrimination was still seen widely across the kingdoms of man. The great races forged the Great Council a unified body that would govern of the lands justly. Every race from great to minor had a place in the council, also established by the Great Council was a standard of learning in the magic arts and the Wizardary was formed. Within the Wizardary there was the Wizards Council and its subordinate councils. A new life was being made for all races a like with a peace that seemed from the age of the Gods. But as anything good, it does not last forever, a darkness is beginning to rise again from Mount Poulus. A new threat is whispered in the shadows, deadlier than before and the hordes are on the rise. Will the mysterious woman that saved them in the past come again, does she tire of being the savior, can the great races in their diminished light with stand the new threat, what will become of Linona…. The fate of the world rest within the hands of the youth of this age…. One shall split the heavens and earth, The darkness will be cracked. The uneven hand shall rise from the ash Seven lights will shine around Linona From the center’s chaos the unseen cometh forth Bound of all, from all of all Shall the edge be banished -- The Poulus Prophecy -- Seeing as everything I wanted was almost 30k I need another post, I apologize. |

Well there is a lot of unfinished pieces to this that my RP post will eventually help to fill in for to explain things. But with the descriptions here you’ll be able to get a grasp of the world and life. There are a large number of races for everyone to choose from. So you can pick one of them and no crossbreeding races please. About the only ones that you could are Dragons seeing at there are about as many types of dragons I have listed as there or great races. Seen I am having this come to mind as I go it might be a little out of order or sense, just bare with me.
The Great Races Dragons – One of the first races to be brought into existence at the dawn, their magic skills and vast store of energy made them ideal for adding in the creation of the minor races. However, the power and strength has greatly diminished over the millennia’s and they are a mere shell of their former power. Much of their strength was used to combat the evils that threatened the world and we often on the front lines combating the hordes. Despite their weakened power, they were still considered one of the most powerful races on Linona and by natural innate power, the most powerful wizards. The species of dragons are as follows: High Dragon – They are proud and probably the most arrogant of the dragons, their powers have helped them to prove their worth and allowance of such arrogance. Royal Dragon – A subset of the High Dragon they were born from the cross breed High Dragon and Original Great Dragon to make a larger, strong Dragon made specifically for the fight against Qours. Now they are generals in the Dragonic Armies that lead the Lesser Dragons. Fire Dragon – As their name says, they are a fire elemental, from having lived about the Pit of Ghou’lat where the lava flames shoot into the clouds. The fire dragons have a resistance to fire and great skill manipulating it. Water Dragon – They are a water elemental type, having made their homes along the oceans, their bodies developed the ability to move through the water and control it. Lesser Dragon – A race designed as a foot soldier, they are if any of the dragon could be consider fodder, they are the fodder in battle, but more importantly the strike infantry that dives from the skies. Lesser Dragons are considered expendable, but also one of the most honorable positions, as a dragons honor is to family and clan, their death would be in protection of that. Great Dragon – The original dragon made by Monat, they are the most orthodox and tradition oriented of the dragons. Their power and strength is the only thing these days keeping them as a voice among the dragon race as most are dead from the War of Tainted Gods. Mystic Dragon – They are probably the most powerful wizard dragon that could be seen from the dragon race, as much of their body is made specific to cast magic, their ability to divide concentration to a number of spells and still remain their full potency is to be respected. Wind Dragon – The wind elemental dragon, they took to the skies more than any of the others. Their love for the skies and flying have made them the fastest fliers in all of Linona. Spirit Dragon – Some see the spirit dragon as an evolutionary step in the race of dragons as their origin is not clear and their power is the greatest of any. It is the fact that their bodies are often seen becoming transparent that they were named the Spirit Dragon. It has not been until the recent age that they began to appear, their numbers are small and mysterious. Earth Dragon – They are the earth elemental dragon, dragons that have developed a love for the earth and land more than anything else. Their wings have grown small and weak and most do not fly anymore. Only the older ones still have the strength in their wings. Shadow Dragon – A dark and twisted dragon from the Great Dragon line that was warped from the hand of Qours and now serves her and the dark plans. Most were thought to have been killed in the War of the Shadow’s Fall. Dark Dragon – Where formally dragons that loved Ewuta, but became warped by the Shadow Dragons and now serve them in their evil plans. Fairies – They were born of the similar design of the Hemerataq but on a smaller size. Fairies about half the size of Hemerataq. The fairies have a tendency to be seen the Hemerataq as their kingdoms have bordered each other since the age of gods. They have greater magic than the Hemerataq, but because of their size they cannot do the same strength as their counterparts. During both the War of Tainted Gods and Shadow’s Fall they fought side by side with the Hemerataq, however many of them have died during the last war and much of their kingdom is in ruin. Hemerataq – are a winged race of human typed, created before the men, some of them consider themselves the foundation image of the men, though they believe that their beauty and prowess greatly surpasses that of men. This idea still holds today, despite the fact that during the War of Men, the men struck first at the Hemerataq and almost destroyed their entire race. Hemerataq were considered one of the most power of the great races, but because of their small numbers they were unable to make a difference in either war. Some say that if the men had not destroyed them first, the out come of the war would have been much different. They live up in the floating cloud cities that travel across the world of Linona. Despite most of their cities being razed, they have rebuilt them, though a constant number has always live on the ground with the Fairies. Torel – People still wonder about the Torel, few of them seem to know what they are and most wonder if even the gods know. The Torel are a shadow like race, that is humanoid, but often they will able as a shadow like mist with times of corporal substance. As this is such many question their loyalities, as their were the only great race not to fight. Most do not trust the shifting shadows. Rumors say their power is great and their full potential is seen in the wake of a full moon, but none really know. Their borders are always closed and dark from the constant shadow that lays over their land. Men – The last of the great races made by Poulus herself and concerned the most troublesome race to have ever walked the earth. Most of the races have never trust them since the War of Men and their betrayal. Even after the War of the Shadow’s Fall where men fought side by side with the other great races, there are few that truly trust men, most believe that they are a race of lairs and immoral beings that will betray them at the moment of weakness that benefits them the most. Even though women now control the minority of the governing, trust is still thin, more than anything women are more trust than men and is probably the only thing has stopped the other great races from banishing them from the lands. For as long as women as the leader, the race of men have a future. This has been the only thing that has stopped many of the men from demanding and renewed status as equals. They do not want to risk the fury of the other great races. Minor Races Centaur – They were breed from a crossing of men and horse on the musing of the dragons as their curiosity got the better of them. Often found throughout the kingdoms of men, the centaur are a nature loving race that refused to fight in the wars. Many were sent into slavery by the men during the War of Men to fight as soldiers. Deep resentment still stand between them, most of the centaurs can be found in their forest cites though a few walk the streets of men. Wolten – They were a wolves that were given thought, seen as a worthy species of beast capable of being sentient the dragons gave them and new live. Despite their more human form, they retained their wolf heritage by transforming back to wolves. You will often find wolves with the Wolten as they are considered the alpha males and other wolten will make the pack a mix of wolf and wolten. Their kingdom never really has been established and been allowed to roam the lands freely. The wolten probably have experienced the most peaceful times of anyone. Kitra – Are a feline humanoid race that the dragons made, they maintained the grace and pose of their feline heritage but gained the sentience of the other races. Much of the kitra live with the men, during the period of the War of Men, the kitra were slaves and objects of pleasure, but with the change to women, the Kitra have been grant equal status. During the age of the shadow it was not uncommon for the Kitra to own men, it was a time of retribution for the period for the Kitra. Though with the end of the War of the Shadow’s Fall came new laws prohibiting the owning of men and Kitra lost some of their stature, but are one of the wealthiest of the races. Great Birds – A broad term for the numerous bird races that were given sentient life by the dragons. The races of the great birds often are seen with the Wind Dragons or the Hemerataq. Their own kingdom is a sparse patches of mountain peaks that range all across Linona. They were one of the only minor races to actually fight with the great races and as such their numbers are fewer than the other minor races. Giants – They were the dragons attempt at making a large type of man, which were more of a hulking mass of muscle than anything. The size of the bodies made it difficult for them to have a normal life with the men and most left into the forests to not be heard of again. Halflings – A vile race created by the men as spite to the dragon’s many creations and their own jealousy of the gods. Not having the knowledge to truly be able to make a sentient being the men improvised as they always have and some respect should be given for they created a race from nothing without help. However, it was a race mean with the wrong intent and thus it was tainted, the men wanted a foot soldier that would be fodder in the coming War of Men and the Halflings provided that. They were a vicious race that knew only to follow orders and did whatever they were told till they died. However, most were banished by Gods, but the Men still knew how to make them and so few are seen around the lands though they are killed on sight. The banished race of Halflings were later returned in the War of the Shadow’s Fall and now were turned on their creators. Many of the Halflings were used in the battles against the men to hurt moral. The Halflings today continue to have a stronghold around Mount Poulus which no one has been able to break since the Battle of Mount Poulus. Qera – A strange race of people that were breed from fish and men, rather aquatic and humanoid, but still consist of gills and fish like parts. Preferring a peaceful life they’ve remained sheltered from the world and few are even seen on land. They only appear for The Great Council and then leave promptly not wishing to be involved with the matters of the world. Na’Torel – They live with the Torel and most think that they are the evolved form of the Torel. The Na’Torel are purely shadowy mist and seem stronger than the Torel, but no one really knows as they are even more rare to than the Torel, who represent them on the council. Wizardary Master Council Mage Council Sage Council Great Wizard Council Petnalica – Apprenticeship Slang Term Gentor 1st year Gert Semtor 2nd year Sema Sentor 3rd year Sena Noltor 4th year Nolt Cettor 5th year Cet Nelator 6th year Ne Famaltor 7th year Fama Qelletor 8th year Qel Awantor 9th year Awn Ti’Tor 10th year Ti Na’Petna Schooled Apprentice Ferm’Petna Traveled Apprentice Torama’Petna Master’s Apprentice Ramatic’Petna Mage’s Apprentice Manaque’Petna Sage’s Apprentice Petna’Tira Full Apprentice Toramalica - Mastership Torama’Gerno Master Torama’Abel White Master Torama’Mabel Gray Master Torama’Omabel Black Master Torama’Atarnot Green Master Torama’Nefer Blue Master Torama’Tira Full Master Ramatilica – Mageship Ramatic-Petna Apprentice Mage Ramatic-Torama Master Mage Manaque-Ramatic Sage Mage Ramatic-Tira Full Mage Manaqulica - Sageship Manaque-Gerno Sage Manaque-Torama Master Sage Manaque-Ramatic Mage Sage Manaque-Tirana Great Sage Manaque-Hemera High Sage Magic has become a relevatively high stature in Linona, where those that even obtain the rank of Master are widely respected. Even though magic is everywhere and most people have the ability to use magic, it is wild magic as they call it. Most of the try not to use magic because it is untrained, while the schools of magic train the people to use magic. Though even still many of the races have a general education school where magic is learned to be controlled and harnessed for everyday life. In recent years almost 60% of the peoples of Linona are magic literate so the status of wizard has been slightly diminished, though their power will always remain as a cornerstone to the fighting force. The sword and shield, as well as many other weapons are practiced and used throughout Linona, though the men have been advancing in new areas of science that frights the magic community. As seen in the past wars, the men’s ingenuity has been frighteningly advance than the other great races. This fact worries some of the races at what terrible creations could come out of the men’s innate curiosity with science. Though the advancements made so far cannot be denied their usefulness, which have been in the form of cleaner more efficient methods to forging. Much of the world’s nations lie relatively close in borders, a few walls lie between the nations, but it is most around their castles and cities do walls appear. Travel throughout each kingdom is fair easy if you have the time to travel. There are several method of travel, teleport hubs are the most common, but are only seen in the largest cities. Mounted beast and other riders are not uncommon, though horseback is fairly uncommon as horses are as a more noble creature not seen as a mount. Name : Andromeda Age : 18 Height : 5’7” Wizard Level : Qelletor – 8th year apprentice Appearance : He is very young in appearance, seemingly like he is only 14 years ago. Shoulder length hair that is often tied back, wearing a tunic he stays in the company of the council so his clothes are kept. Background : Born into a somewhat indenture slavery, despite its abolishment, he remains in the company of the council. His provider is a woman on the council with the wizards council, Amronia, she is very kind to him and some of the other woman wonder why sometimes. Some of the other women are not so kind to him, despite the age of slavery being gone men have never fully been seen as equals, so the women look down upon him. Most of his life has been in the service of the council doing choirs and various tasks as needed. His reliability has made him an interest to the other races. Andromeda’s sheltered life within the walls of the council has made him much different than most of men outside. He spends much of his time learning about the ancient past from the books that he enjoys reading the council’s vast library. Much of his mind set is what the other men would see as weak as he is more submissive to the women and less aggressive tendencies. Aside from that he has also been able to attend classes at the magic school and is now a Qelletor, 8th year apprentice though he wonders once he reached the status of Na’Petna if he’ll be able to continue his training as it means for him to travel the lands. His abilities seem rather less than average for a wizard and most of his wizard duels end in his defeat. But he has heart and the strength to continue and the desire to learn. |

That's a lot of information to read through, heh. I did read all of it, though I probably won't remember very much in the long run. I'm still trying to figure out all the apprentice stuff though, that's confusing. But, I'll give it a shot anyways.
Name: Sylvara Race: Hemerataq Age: 20 Height: 5' 8" Wizard Level: Once I figure that out, I'll tell you, heh. Appearance: With long white hair and wings that hint at silver feathers, she embodies the grace and natural beauty of her race. She tends to wear a white tunic and pants, with a matching silver-trimmed robe over them. She only removes this robe when she is preparing to fly somewhere, as many humans are still jealous of her wings. Background: Although many Hemerataq have not yet forgiven humans for nearly destroying their race, Sylvara is an exception. She has lived and grown up among humans, and carries none of the judgemental tendencies of her kin. In fact, she enjoys meeting all kinds of people, no matter their race. Because of this, she is training to be an ambassador for the Hemerataq. Originally she lived with humans because she wanted to study to become a mage. She is fascinated by and greatly respects the power of magic, and began learning white magic (if it exists) as a way to use that power to help others. She is known by many throughout the school as being kind and sometimes overly generous. Hopefully that makes some sort of sense, heh. ~DragonHeart~ |

Yay Dragonheart, I am so happy to see someone posting. I was getting really depressed that no one would post for the RP. I was thinking it would never get off the ground. But there is some hope now ^^.
The thing with the magic is that is pretty broad and open. Just about anything for magic. The ranking for wizard is just something for those in the school. If you are an apprentice, then you pick what year you want to be in the school. If you have finished your school, but still an apprentice, then you are one the ones afterwards. Like Schooled Apprentice, meaning that you are schooled, but have no real world training and experience. The titles should be readily understandable and a little common sense can explain most of the apprentice levels. If you are going to master rank or higher, then you need to decide how far along in your Mastership or what you think you want to be. Last edited by Andromeda; 07-15-2004 at 06:07 AM. |

I think people are either too lazy to read all your information or they got intimidated by the size of those posts.
I just didn't have the time to sit down and read everything until now. Actually, no, I did, I was just doing other stuff first heh.I think Sylvara will be a 10th year Ti'Tor or whatever, heh. Man, you sure have some good ideas. You should write some novels out of these things. I'd buy em if you did. ![]() ~DragonHeart~ |

So you are going to be a tenth year apprentice, ok...so you'll be in your final year of schooling then. Sounds good...yeah it is probably long, and it is only going to get longer as I add more things. At least if its length sends people away I know that I am already taking them out before I have to say no. At least I have not had one that wants to sign up and only read a paragraph of the post, nothing would hurt me more than wanting to partake in the RP and not have read any of it. Now that I have someone, I am more inclided to further things. So as we get more people, I'll be continuing to post things related to language and cultures and sort. I am going to try to give everyone a very good picture of what the world is like. So I'll start working on making up these parts.
Thanks for the compliment Dragonheart, ^^ I am glad that you like my ideas. I actually do have a novel I am writing. I just sort of winged this one though, came out good in the end. I am pleased with it, so we'll see how well it goes as we get more people. Last edited by Skai; 07-20-2004 at 11:31 AM. Reason: Removal of signature. |

Yeah, that's basically why I've never bothered starting an RP here. I like things to be planned and well-detailed like this, but I guess most people don't want to put that much effort into it. It's a shame, really. If I ever do start one, it'll be invite only, I think.
Hmmm...I'm not sure who else might be interested in joining this. I'll ask around if I get a chance, I'm actually going to be pretty busy for the next few days or so, eh. (Apparently my parental scehduled things for me without actually letting me know until yesterday. -_- And of course, I'll be starting FFXI soon so I'm sure that'll eat my time, hehe. ) I didn't know you were writing a novel. How's it coming so far? I think you should post some excerpts or something in Fanatics' Tower, I'd love to read it. ^_^ Now if only I had the motivation to get off my arse and work on some of my own novel projects, lol. >_> ~DragonHeart~ Oh, btw, the banners in your sig aren't working. Dunno if you noticed or not, heh. |

Name : Sanura (actually, that is egyptian for kitten)
Age : 18 Height : 5’1” Race: Kitra Wizard Level : Sentor 3rd year Sena Weapon: Twin Maces Appearance : At only 5'1, Sanura is physically easily overpowered. She is like a calico with white furs on her limbs and a black heart shape on her bossom. Across her back is the tortiose-shell pattern and her belly is a creamy orange and white. Across her forehead, she is adorned with what looks like an orange flame. (This is an actual description of my real life cat whose name is Pico by the way. Lol.) She wears a chain around her neck with a pendent, her name inscribed onto it.Background : Sanura grew up under her mother who taught her all she knew about defence and fighting. Unfortunately one day, two men tired and hungry, lost in the woods where they lived, attacked Sanura's mother. Her mother, not strong enough to fend both humans off, was killed as food. Sanura hearing her mother's cries approached the scene to be only too late. In fury, she lunged at both men tearing open one's chest with her claws. The outcome, Sanura was painfully de-clawed and now relies on the maces her elders had given her. Personality: Sanura is not interested in history or knowing what had happened during the war. Instead, she invests her time in a magic school in a different town and but she doess not have extensive knowledge of magic. She relies mainly on her weapons and teeth for defence. To sum up, Sanura is materialistic, protective, bitter but loyal. Her inner self craves much attention but she insists on independence as well. PS: Wow, that took me forever to read. I'm really impressed by the detail, though some things confused me. I'm sure I'll figure them out along the way. Can't wait to start. Last edited by Soyokaze; 09-09-2004 at 05:07 PM. |
