Revival of the Council (Council of Mages people only!)

(The moment you've all been waiting on...the RPs now begin!!!)


The peaceful land of Gaia was wrought with beauty. Forests covered the

plains, elegant flowers bordered the hills, and pure white snow covered the mountain

tops. The mainlands, Vardenfell, was populated by the many races of people. Humans,

Elves, Dwarfs, and some Orc. In the begining, these many races established an empire

in which the "Laws" would be upheld.
To the northwest of Vardenfell was an island know as Solstheim. It was a

frozen isle, and was sparsely populated. Rumors of powerful fiends and werewolves

frightened settlers. However, a few brave people decided to withstand it.
To the south of Vardenfell was the clockwork captial of Mournhold, which was

the center of politics and business. Several guilds of people were established here.

Dragons were tamed in this area by the people, and are now used for the people's

pleasure and travel.
But, millions of miles away from the planet of Gaia was the planet Ro. The

people there were very technologicaly advanced, but still kept their traditions of

the past. They had super computers, yet they lived in castles. They were extremly

wise in the arts of Magic, and the students of Magic were known as Mages.
Their system of goverment was a Council of such Mages, and the leader, Sharo,

had a son with an extrordinary gift in the Arts. However, he feared his power, and

worried about hurting others, even in training exercises.
His Father and Brother, Seth, was very displeased of this because they

believed he was wasting his talents. They also needed him. There was a giant war

going on between Ro and their neighboring planet, Vage. Vage was being controlled by

the Darkness known as "Trylum." Codward could sense it's power growing and went into

hiding.
As he predicted, Trylum attacked and Ro was turned into a wasteland. It

didn't take them long to find Codward, and he was captured. He was presented to

Trylum, but refused to join. Trylum tried using the Darkness to convert Codward, but

right before he was converted, the Gate of Stars, a powerful being of the Light, used

it's power to transport Codward far away. He ended up on Gaia.
While within the Gate of Stars, Codward sensed other Mages also being pulled

into the Gate. But when Codward arrived on Gaia, his memory almost vanished. He could

only remember that he was a Mage, and something was after him.
After roaming the land of Vardenfell, he came upon the River of Kings. (Known

to the locals as the Odai River) He was thirsty, so he drank of it, unknowing it was

a river blessed by the Elders. His memories came surging back to him, and he knew he

had to find the others.
He went into the town that the Odai River ran through. And so... the

story...begins...


"What a rush." Codward said as he got out of the river. So many memories had

come back. So much had been remembered. Codward felt sick. He didn't know if he could

stay standing up. He fell to his knees, and waited for the feeling to receed. When it

finally did, he got up and followed a trail on the ground. A sign on his left said:

"Balmora, forward." He continued to follow the trail forward, and could see the town

in the distance. He entered it, and his eyes were amazed. Elves, Orcs, Humans, and

what appeared to be tiger like people, were every where.
"How strange..." Codward said to himself. He walked through the town, having

no idea where to go.
"Are you a Mage?" asked an Elf.
"Mage? How do you know about Mages?"
"Everyone knows about Mages. If you are one, go to the Guild of the Mages."
"What? A guild? What's going on?"
"Just go to the Guild of the Mages. Maybe they can answer your questions."
Codward, who was now very confused, followed the Elf's orders and went to a

building with a sign in the front that said "Guild of the Mages." He entered and

couldn't belive his eyes...
(Now, I want someone to be in the building, also wondering what's going on.)

Amazed. Shocked. Numerous amounts of feelings crossed her mind, running like wildfire, when she heard the news. A certain numbness held her slender body back, constraining her from screaming and shouting, stopping the tears from running down her red cheeks. News that would bring great destruction, that would bring the end. The elder had willed sagacious words upon her, words that would permanently be locked in her mind for eternity. Words of the dark arts, for they had been inherited, yes, however, they had been inherited into her. Now the very blood of blackness was thriving within her soul, pumping her cold heart. But this news, it seemed to feel like one thousand daggers driving mercilessly into her chest, stabbing the very life and being from her. It was a blow to her, but she knew life had to go on, in an attempt to save the lives of others.

Nowadays, the black mages were quite uncommon, but this female had learned to deal with it, despite the rumours that travelled about her. She had gotten instructions from the aging elder, to try to find a place, a guild, if you will, that only mages go. A place where the mages were not feared, where commoners did not shake in terror at the very sight of one. This guild was named “the Guild of the Mages”. It was rumoured, this she had heard from her elder, that mages flocked there, to train themselves in their category of arts and to meet other mages, and not feel as left out as usual. There was a place in her heart, a place that was reserved for feeling wanted.

Shinrai ran two fingers up her small staff. It was refined out of a pure silver metal, with crunched up bunches running up and down the sides. The staff swirled round at the top, into a spiral, finishing with a beautiful glowing peridot, positioned at the very end of the spiral. The touch of the metal felt smooth against her delicate hands. It felt as though it hadn’t been touched in days, so cold and icy. It sent shivers running up and down her spine.

Her chocolate brown eyes were averted from their recent gaze of the staff, to a large building, which was looming in front of her. An old-fashioned sign was hammered into the ground, thought it looked like it was rotting. The board had “Guild of the Mages” inscribed on it, in a fancy italic font. It looked pretty good, for something so old. A sudden blast of wind sent her auburn coloured hair flying in all directions. Shinrai raised a hand to sweep it back, to tuck it back behind her ears, so it once again framed her porcelain doll like face. She tentatively took steps forward, before finding it wasn’t too difficult a task for her to complete.


Shinrai felt her hands resting on the metal doorknobs. She twisted them sideways and pulled backwards, hoping to open them. The doors opened with a bang, Shinrai cringed. Sometimes she didn’t know her own strength. A mage standing by the door looked up at the commotion. “Name?” he asked, sounding weary. “Last name first please.” He waved his hand frustratedly. “Azuki Shinrai.” The mage nodded and replied, “Step through.” Just as Shinrai stepped forward, another bang rang through the building. She quickly turned and saw someone new entering.

Vincent walks out of a room with a sign written in runic above the door. He sighs and kicks the wall. he turns and sees an unfamiliar face. He approaches the man, "Hello, you new here, or did you transfer from the orcish cities. I can't blame you if you did, they are quite dumb." Vincent looks at him akwardly, "Hey are you going to answer me? Phhfft suit yourself." He turns around and walks into a door with another type of runic written obove the door. Inside sits a rings of mages, all in long robes, at the head of the room sits a grand sage, (Knows all, iff you dissaproove of it tell me ill change it.)
"Ahem, Grand Sage Sir?" "Spit it out Vincent. I havent got all day, there are other students who actually want to learn magic instead of messing with the forbidden arcan powers like you." "Thats just it sir. I really would like to have it brough back, what harm did it ever do, you know it, why may i not learn it myself?" The sage nods, "Good point..." The Rad mage interupts, "Yes but its evil nonetheless, I will not here of this anymore, Vincent please leave now!"
Vincent scowls at the red mage and leaves the room. He sits down next to Codward, "So, your still here." (I will allow you to use my character as conversation within your post.)

Codward felt his mind shake as he saw who was here. A woman with a silver staff was talking to what seemed to be the guild stewardess. She seemed strangly familiar, yet he couldn't put his finger on it. When he was about to speak to her, another Mage, which also seems familiar begins talking to him. Words would not come to Codward to respond to him, so he sat on the ground trying to recover from the "memory" feeling.

" I wish this would stop." he said to himself.
"So, you're still here?" asked the Mage.
"Hmm? Yes... I'm looking for.... nevermind."
"What? What are you looking for?"
"Nothing. I don't feel well.... could you please go?"
"There's a healer here. Perhaps she could help you."
"No, I'm fine..."
The guild stewardess came over to Codward and Vincent.
"You, the one with the purple hair (me) do you have any intrest in joining the Guild of the Mages?"
"What is this guild? What is it's purpose?"
"We live to bring knowlege of Magic to the people. In the begining, only nobles and kings ever got to experience the joys of Magic, but we make our duty to share the joys of Magic with all people, rich and poor."
"Well, let me recover my strength, and I shall consider it. I have an agenda however."
"Let me know when you want to join. By the way, I am Rainis Anythis."
"Thank you."
Codward got up slowly.
"Maybe I should see that healer."
(You know what's weird? This is going exactly how I want it! Now, I want Kairi to say something like "Can I come with you?" and we'll go from there. Remember to check the club thread too. I post more orders there.)

A man walks from the room that Valentine just came from. He approaches Valentine and looks into his eyes. He sets his hand on his shoulder and says, "Obviously you want to learn the arcane magic, but we can teach you black magic which is close." Valentine nods "But thats not the thing, I want to learn arcane magics because I want to become one of the best magicians known, Sure the art was forbidden but I want to learn, so i can become just like the mages and wizards we now worship. I want to be known for something other than petty black magic, Any commoner can learn to cast a fire spell, or create ice. Lighting they got a problem with but thats all. The arcan magics allow me to do whats beyond the human boundaries." "Well i see that you are serious about this. I hope that you don't have the evil intentions like the sage said. Never the less though, I will teach you, but in secret, I see that it is nothing more than pure desire, instead of a lust for destruction, but if i see any evil take shape in you I shall immediatly remove all magical abilities within you." Valentine nods, showing he understands. The black mage leaves and goes back into his proper area. A smirk grows across his face that can be seen through the cloth that covers his mouth, "Perfect." He stands and walks over to the Cafeteria. Once in he orders his usual coffee and sits with the few friends he has made here.

I was lost, deep in a forest, I had just stolen A new sword, called the Loden Sword, from an armory in town, all he could do is run, but enough about that, this forest is a breeding ground, for monsters...

"Uh, nice fiend, gulp."
the 4 goblins appeared in front of him.
" oh yeah, this is going to be hard,"
*he raises his hands and starts chanting a spell*
Goblin1: "eh?"
".....FIRE!"
*burns all of the goblins to a crisp*
" Yeah, that was.....O_O!"

A Giant Goblin appears....
" I-i-i could use some....help...."
The Goblin Grabs Alan and takes him away

(Perfect, you set it up great, i had o idea what to do before, your pretty good at this Sega)

Valentine waits outside the room for the black mage to take him to his training area. He walks out and says, "They think i have an errand to run, Ill take you to the forest to train." Valentine nods and foolows as the head black mage heads off to the forest. (15 minutes later) The two sit down in the forest in a meditative position. A giant Goblin stampedes behind them with a screaming boy in its hand, "Help me! Please" The black mage gets up and casts a fire spell of the higher levels. Valentine gets up and focuses his energy into a large ball of fire then hits the goblin with it then douses him with a chilling water spell, He focuses on lightning now and shcoks him. The black mage turns, "I've never seen any combos like that before, how did you know it would work?" Valentine chuckles, "Am i the only one who reads the books?" The goblin screams and thrashes around throwing the boy into the air. The black mage uses a float spell and he gently floats down. Valentine looks at him, "I thought that was white magic" He nods, "Yeah but it helps to know it, Actually its more of a neutral." The goblin then reaches down and picks up Valentine and runs off with him. Now nearly miles away from the others and deep into the woods the goblin drops a him into a small wooden cage, and lays down next to him. He looks at Valentine with a look of caring instead of aggresion. Valentine looks into its eyes and looks down, "I wonder if it only wants a friend, not often you find fiends like that." (Hint Remember the fairies from FFIX)

After being taken by the big goblin thing, I used my brain to figure out it's weakness, it's a man, and all men have the same one weakness, the ballz.

"eh heh heh heh...BOLT1!"
a bolt of lightnig shoots out and misses Goblin King and hit Alan, Knocking him into the sky.....

"Well, a least I'm out....."

As Codward got up to go to the healer, Valentine left abruptly with another Mage.
"Oh well. I can findthat healer myself." said Codward to himself.
Codward walked down the steps into a large room with a tree in it. There was what seemed like a female Druid meditating beside it.
"Excuse me. Are you the Mage Guild healer?" asked Codward.
"Hmm? Yes... what do you need?" she asked, seeming like she wasn't annoyed even though Codward had interrupted her meditaion.
"I... I feel like I have contracted something..."
"Well, I'll preform a hearth heal spell. It might make you feel better." The Druid picked up her wooden staff that was behind her, and it glowed a soft blue. It surrounded Codward and made him feel somewhat uplifted, but it didn't restore him completly.
"Feel any better?"
"Yes, thank you." Codward then went back up the stairs and tried to find the Guild Stewardess, however, she was no where to be found.
"Excuse me, miss." said Codward to the woman who was talking to the stewardess before.
"Where has the stewardess gone to?"

As Valentine sits in the little cage he notices that he still has his bag on. He reaches in and pulls out a book with a Skull and some tribal markings on it. He opens the book and reads the lines from it outloud. He begins to glow a drak redish color and he fades for a second or two. He falls down to his knees, "Maybe i shouldn't try such a high level spell yet." He looks back in the book and reads some more lines. He stands and begins chanting the words over and over. He focuses on the wooden poles holding him in. He then launches a large ball of fire at it and creates an explosion waking the goblin. The ball of fire follows through with its movement and burns the pole and heads straight for the goblin, He then quickly throws an ice spell in its way not to harm the Goblin. He walks out of the cage and pets the goblin comfortingly. The goblin stands up now nearly fifteen feet tall. Valentine now realizes the true hreat of this beast but sees it wont harm him, he contains himself and taps on its knee, then motions for it to follow him. The goblin surprisingly nods and follows. As Valentine makes his way back to the town. He sees the Black mage trying to find him in a beaten down path obviously made by the goblin. He runs over to him, "Im here, dont worry." The black mage nods and points behind him, "I see you've somehow managed to tame it." Valentine nods, "Actually, its friendly." The black mage grunts in confusion, "Thats odd... I've only heard of monsters such as the mystical fairies doing that, but they only come out in a troubled time. Yet nothings gone wrong here so where could it have been?"

Still flying well, now I'm falling...

"Hey, whats that?"

Alan falls landing about 50 meters from Codward...

"Ugh oh dammit...."

Alan Falls unconcious*.......

Sorinas awoke from his make-shift bed inside of the Temple of the Stars. All it was was a few boxes laid next to one another and a sheet spread over them.

Sleeping on it gave him neck cramps and a back ache but it was better than laying on the stone floor that was covered with a thin layer of water.

He stood up and grabbed his amulet ,that he treasured more than his own life, and his cape. He was soon outside staring at the midnight sky. He looked around for hours identifying constellations and other deep-space objects. Aquilla...Bootz..Cassiopea...Orion..and many others. He then saw a very peculiar object in the sky. It seemed to be radiating a crimson light form the core and the rest of it was black. The only way he could tell that the black was part of it was because of the bright light of the stars behind it.

He walked back into the temple and rummaged around it for a telescope to investigate the oddity better. As he walked in a rock from atop the temple had fallen down nearly htiing Sorinas. He just walked on thinking nothing of it . After about five minutes of searching for a telescope he found one. He ran out side and set up the telescope immediatly when he saw that the object was gone. Not only that but them temple had collapsed behind him.

Sorinas turned around and noticed what had happened to his home. He bent down to his knees and began to swear uncontrolably. He had lived there for two years after he had found his amulet and learned about his power over the stars.

He was so upset that he just stomped of in a rage down the street not even knowing where he was headed.

After about an hour of walking he noticed a man laying on the ground quite a ways away from another man.

He seems to have been hit hard by something.

Still out, Alan had a little dream, if you will, about someone near and very dear to him, his girlfriend had been captured from his hometown...this was no dream, this had really happened.
"Alan!!!"
"Angela.....You son of a bitches! GET BACK HERE!"
But before Alan could do anything one of the Pirates ran by and hit him in the back of the head with a shovel, knocking him out, and also giving him amnesia...he has finally recovered and is ready to get her back...

He finally awoke, Alan noticed a man hovering above him, startled, he jumped.

"W-w-who are you?"
