The best FMV scene

What do you think is the best FMV scene?

Well my Favorite ones are :

- The Opening FMV : Always thought that was well done and made a nice opening for FFVIII

- The Landing Scene ( Dollet Assault ) : That was a DAMN cool FMV sequence ..... so cool and well done ^_^

- The Dance Scene : That was just too funny ^^ Glad to see even FF Characters can't dance to save their life lol

- The Space Scene : I just thought that scene was cute and it showed just how much Squall loved Rinoa ^_^

- The Ending Scene : Totally funky scene and really well done. My Favorite scene over all.

There was another good scene you missed off though , the scene where Squall , Zell and Selphie are escaping that Robo-spider thingy. That was a SERIOUSLY cool FMV and it was good to see Quistis let out some of that excess anger ^_~

Yeah I'm sorry about that but I did try to put it on but you could only put 10 options on in a poll, I tried to do 21, coz thats how many Fmv's there are, so I thought as I can't do 20 I had better do 10 which were chosen at random.
I hope you'll forgive me for not putting that on, I did try and put as most of them down as I could.
Shall I name all the fmv's for you and then you'll have a better selection, and you can choose again if you like, I'll still keep the poll though.

All of them were good, so it really comes down to preference, IMO.

Opening - Obviously. They put a lot of effort in it to hook people, and it worked. =P I wouldn't have bought FFVIII (or known it existed) if my friend hadn't shown me the opening. Besides, it was damn cool. Bloody Squall =P

Beginning of Dollet Mission - I liked the whole heartbeat in the background and the boats looked awesome. Squall looked ready to kick Galbadia's ass in that one, lol.

Transformation - Watching the Garden lift off with missiles streaking by...excellent. Hehe, nothing like a good evasion of an explosion to spice things up.

Battle of the Gardens - Now this was just cool. That entire sequence (I think there were 2 or 3) was really well done. And it was cool because they were actually fighting and stuff, so there was something actually going on.

Ending - Poignant and happy at the same time. o_O I thought it was great. The part with Seifer was so cute. =P And with Angelo running around, heh. Yeah...

I'm limiting to my top 5 in favor of space...I like all of them, for the most part anyways. The opening is seriously my top one though, it was just so well done, and Liberi Fatali playing in the background...whee.

I knew I frogot to put on down , the Battle between Balamb Garden and Galbadia Garden. That was a seriously awsome scene , especially when the Gabadian troops paratroop in ^_^ Totally awsome.

The garden battle FMVs were just pure gems. I loved the whole scenes, not just the FMVs, but the storylines and the battles and the whole deal of it. It's brilliant. A good ending to the disc.

All the FMV scenes were cool My favourite one is the Dance scene! And also the scene were Squall and Rinoa hug (at the sorceress memorial) But the games story was excellent!

Well, I thought most of the FMV scenes so far have been really good..., I'm only through to disc 2 right now, but I liked the beginning where Squall and Seifer were fighting, which was cool.

I liked the whole boat scene/dollet landing i thought it was well thought out and well orchestrated. I liked it a lot :grins:

I'd say the opening scene.
Mainly because of the awesome, unbeatably, action-packed gunblade battle starring none other than THE SEIFER ALMASY himself.
Also, because it gives you a couple of glimpses of things from the game, and the opening theme "Liberati Fetali" by Umatsu Noboru (SP?) is just perfect. Especially for the scenes it shows in the FMV, like when Rinoa's standing in the field with the feathers floating all around her. And it's got great closure at the end where Rinoa falls into Squall's arms.

I loved the ending because of the part where squall can't remember anything and sees Rinoa die in space.

Thats a hard one.

I mean the opening is a comp of a majority of the FMV's. But its soooo good, I mean seriously. And the "training" between Squall and Seifer is pure gold. I don't remember another time when I've seen blood in an FF FMV.

Dance scene was cool, just another glimpse into the way Squall acts.

The dollet mission scene was one of my faves. From crashing into the wall to running back from the tower, it was totally insane.

The battle between Galbadia and Balamb was crazy too. I mean this was 1998 visuals and making everyone seemingly run amok in the background and it was just all so good.

Space scene: I was a crier there... so whatever it was good.

Ending was awesome. But when the feather touches the ground in the ending, I thought that was the end and got really upset, however after the rest of the ending played, I was totally satisfied. And doing a video during the rolling credits is a very very smart act on their part to do. It was just so good.

Frankly speaking it`s not an easy question because I like all the FMV scenes but of course there are a few I like more
For instance the flight of the garden (especially the shot with Rinoa), the scene where Squall dances with Rinoa (great white dress), space scene (where Rinoa almost dies and Squall saves her) and there are more...

Liberi Fatali makes the opening scene what it is. Not to mention Seifer totally kicking Squall's ass.

My favourite would be the escape from Dollet, when Quistis blows the shit out of the machine. One kickass biatch.
