Favorite FFIX Character

My favorite FFIX character is Amarant. I love his skills and his weapons. Plus, the red fro.

Quina all the way man...come on it's fat..it's hyper..it chases frogs...it attacks with a damn fork...it likes to snack..it's a friggin cook..it has twisted family members...nothing wrong about that evil critter....so yeah...it is my favourite one ^^

I found Steiner and Quina equally cool.... but I never could decide which of them I liked best. Steiner was funny and had cool rattly armour, and Quina was funny and had a fork and ate frogs.

Can I just start off by saying ...... You missed out Beatrix *cries* She ruled and was my Favorite Final Fantasy IX Character ( well my favorite female one anyway ).

My favorite Male character was Zidane. I've always liked how the thieves turn out in FF games and Zidane was a cool / funny character ^_^

Vivi was probably my fave character, useful in all sitiuations.. next being Quina, all those Blue Magic Spells are EXTREMELY handy, especially White Wind, and Sleep is almost a cheat when everybody on your team has a Guard against it, heh heh. Steiner had his uses, in particular, his breaks. And Garnet was the better out of the 2 White Magic Users, heh. So, i'll give Vivi a vote, jus cuz.

I like Zidane. He had awesome, unique weapons and abilites in the FF games, an awesome personality and was just a cute guy all around

I picked garnet I'm not sure why really. I just didnt like most of the characters from this game..... I thought it had the worst ff chars so far thats for sure.

Zidane was pretty cool. He was, in my opinion, one of my favorite thieves in any FF. Locke being the best. But, then again, I love all the thieves in every Final Fantasy.

Vivi was my favorite black mage in any Final Fantasy. He is so cute and awesome. He can seriously kick some ass. His defense may be a little low so I usually give him Auto-Reflect, Reflect x2, Auto-Protect, and Regen. He is seriously great.

*shakes his head* Man, you gotta put some NPC's in there, Blank is the all-time greatest character in FFIX

Vivi! he was the coolest. i would love to be a 9 year old black mage with some kick butt Magic. and i like his hat. lol

Yeah I pick Zidane cuz well, he may be a leader in it but he's also the comedy reilef in my opinion. Some of the time.

I picked Dagger because she was, other than Beatrix, a real great character. The game showed Dagger's problems, and just because she's a princess doesn't mean she can't kick ass.

Steiner - has all the best abilities you can get, like Beatrix.

I will be the first and say none of the above, my favorite character was Freya... first off, I like the Dragoon class, its a very cool and unique society of warrior...

Next, her skills were interesting and useful, and the never fail option to jump.

Now she may not have been as heavy a hitter as some, but she could hold her own, and did well in boss battles for me, I enjoyed using her. Lancer is a helpful little boost of hp/mp I believe it was... (I havent played the game in a while). More the strong silent type, and the fact shes a girl makes her the only female dragoon in FF history that I know of (FFXI aside of course). Zindane just didn't cut it for me, I think part of it is Timon like modeled his life after Zindane, and I will never be associated in the same category as timonmeera The other characters have their own little qualms, Steiner was a whiner, and though I liked his sword attacks, he didnt cut it very well in the personality factor. Garnet was just... icky... Eiko was my prefrence in magic users but her perosonality was terrible. I did not work well with Amarant at all, my friend liked his skills, but he just did not cut it. Quina I wanted to have fried and eaten, I just did not like her character one bit, annoyed the hell outta me if anything. Vivi is probably my second, you can't help but love the little guy, but swords over magic I always say
