Ive seen it many times, people asking about.. "when does xxxx learn a spell, blah blah" well, i just came across a list that is pretty damn spot on, Spell Lists for Celes and Terra

So your basically telling us when they learn the spell based on there level instead of learning it from an esper??

Cool and yet who cares at the same time dude! I mean I suppose this is helpful, but why does anyone need to know this information? As anyone going through the game will not want to miss any of the espers. Hence they will be able to learn all the spells anyway???

Heh, those are the levels that Celes and Terra, naturally learns spells without the aid of Espers.. thats excatly why i am putting this list up. Its been asked before, and i jus happen to come across the info.. so, eh, post it up.

It also makes it easier. If your soon approaching the level in which they learn the spell why waste your time having them learn it via an Esper?

A FAQ I've been using has that list. =\ Well, it isn't necesarrily a list, I think. I dunno. Blah.

I'll agree with what your saying, but seriously when you get the first 6 espers, your around level 20 right. That list really might only help slightly, as your going to learn the spells from those 6 espers really quick, including Fire2, and stuff like that. Also after you get the first 6 you start getting the rest of them pretty regularly after that. Therefore you'll have access to those higher spells before those two characters even get to those levels.

It's helpful, but not really needed, to accomplish the same goal.

When I got the first 6 Epsers on my most recent game I was lvl 30+

But anyways, the lvl 1 (fire, bolt, ice) magics learn at X20, the lvl 2 magics (fire 2, bolt 2, and ice 2) learn at X5? and yeah... it's actually really slow.

It took me 4+ hours to train all my characters at that point to have all the spells those 6 Esper's give.

While I'm at it, I think I might change the name to something more fitting and then sticky it up top. After all, natural skills are good. We can include things in this thread like the levels at which new blitzes and swrdtechs are learned.

I'd snag a list now, but I've got to get to school to take attendance, even though I have no tests today. I'll get them later.

Actually that list is semi helpful to me, cuz I have certain "standard points" I have to meet before I go to sections of this game, I dunno why, its just something I do, like, I like having my main 3 party members being about lvl 45 before going to the Triangle Island so I can just totally rape everything... that and the basic, 10 fire rods and 1 ice rod for escaping the island, but from that chart, you can see my Terra (who I have in my active party) has fire 3 before she can even get access to the esper by FAR!

That and I have all other characters to lvl 30 by that time as well, and I wouldent mind just naturally learning those spells rather than spend a LONG time earning them with the rates given... I dont go to the final dungeon till my active party at LEAST has all the spells learned (im a perfectionist... I know) and is about lvl 75...

so that helps me actually in my leveling experience

Man... level 75!? The final dungeon is a walk in the park at those levels. 45 for triangle island? lol. I thyought level 30 was going too far. My requirement for that was just having one person being able to use Atma Weapon at its full legnth, because it looked "cool" lol. I know what you mean though, having the ace in the hole is nice, because no one likes losing.

This list is kinda nice. Personally, I never really cared that Terra and Celes learned magic naturally, because learning by way of Espar was faster than leveling once you got to the world of ruin.

I dunno, im kinda weird like that, I just thought Triangle Island and the final dungeon would be super hard... so I kept holding back till I went there... Triangle I just got to 30 cuz I had read it would help me in the WoR... but I did it the super slow way and had my 3 active party members in at all time when I leveled the other characters, so by the time everyone was to lvl 30, they were about lvl 45... its overkill, but fun

And then... with teh Final Dungeon, I just didnt want to beat it... so I didn't I sat in the Dino Forest for a long long time and just kept going... I actually was about to out HP the magimaster because of it... when he used his final attack Ultima... my levels were high enough that I just survived it, one person even not in critical

Well yes, but when you're like me and you're close to 50 before you even START the WoR, then lists like that are actually quite nice.

Heh, and Mr. Crazy Cid over there think's HE'S a perfectionist...
I won't finish a game -- any game -- without all characters maxed out as far as the levels are concerned. Okay, maybe the first time, but none after.

Actually, that was what I was gunna do, but I remember it exactly, I went to a friends house for the weekend, and he took all my SNES games... Zelda, FF6, Mystic Quest, SM:RPG and maybe even Chrono Trigger and we sat down and beat them... so I never got around to it

But I did get everyone Ultima :-p

Wow, that's pretty impressive. Okay, so... the reason I've yet to put up the blitz and swdtech lists is because I can't find them... and I can't just remember what all of the levels were... so yeah.

Umm, if someone else finds those, you're more than welcome to tack them on.
