Unfortunatley, our beloved RP was deleted *sob*. I was on a 1-month trip to India, unable to post, and the mods didn't even PM me.

If you want to join the RP, PM so I can give you a summary.

Brothers of Wind and Stone

The sun broke through the clouds of white, and brought warmth to the earth once more. Slowly, the rain came to a halt, and clouds seemed to disappear in the sky of purest blue. Light tiptoed through the trees, so that shadows of the leaves and branches danced among the ground.

A singe blade of grass stood proud and tall in the sun, waiting to dry off all of the needless water that soaked it. Still, each step made a squish, for it would take time even for this intense heat to rid the dampness from the forest.

Kieto noticed that the wound was now taking true effect on the boy, and bloodloss was beginning to become a great matter in the situation.

If only Mayumi was here, than this innocent boy would be safe. Even in my arms, he seems as vulnerable as before. If only I could take away his pain, and guide him back to the world of happiness.

It was just then, that a nearby tree suddenly burst into shards of broken wood! Splinters flew everywhere, and it was only luck that they were all quick enough to shield their eyes from the danger of these weapons.

Laughter could be heard all around, but it seemed as if it were just a pair of voices echoing a hundred times over. Still, it made everything seem all the more eeries, especially in a strange forest such as the one they were currently walking through. Fortunately the overgrowth that was present earlier was absent in this scene, and instead they had to deal with nothing but a peculiarly even cut of fresh green grass.

"Who goes there!" shouted Kieto in a fierce tone, much unlike that of his normal voice.

He slowly placed the boy on the soft grass to rest, and he drew his sword slowly and steadily, the ending clash echoing through the trees.

"So you are a swordsman" hissed a voice like the tongue of an adder.

"Apparently so" boomed another voice, both voices echoing in harmony.

"Show yourselves!!!" shouted the warrior with fury, his rage bouncing through the trees, searching for open ears.

"I cannot sense them, which means that they must either be faster than the wind, or as still as the earth below us." Kana noted, drawing two short kitanas at once.

"Or both..." Kieto suggested, as the wind began to pick up all of a sudden.


"My Mushin has improved, so my only hope is that it will prove useful in case this turns out to be but another battle in our long quest for all of the unknown answers."

"A tornado!!" screamed Thomas in horror. The woman screeched, and she grasped the boy in her arms, shielding him from the intense wind that tore away at the grass and ripped away at their skin.

Kieto walked towards the tornado calmly, and with a sudden motion, he thrust his sword into the tornado, which absorbed all of the wind! Slowly, the wind was completely absorbed, concentrated around the kitana that he wielded.

Only seconds later, a large boulder was flying towards him, and with just a touch of his sword, Kieto transferred all the wind and energy into the boulder, shattering it into tiny little pebbles that exploded everywhere.

"That is the power of the Mushin I remember, which was famous for turning power back on the opponent themself. This is the art of the clear mind, in which I will use to defeat you!" Kieto stated proud and strong, only to be rejected by more laughter.

In the now present fog around them, a small figure shadowed in the distance. When emerged from the fog, the first thing they noticed was the absence of red eyes, which were extremely common in demons alike.

His dark blue baggy pants were tied to his waste by a large black sash. Also, his white hair formed a pointy beard on his chin and a mohawk along his goblin-esque head. All of the clothing matched the sky blue skin that the goblin wore.

However, the goblin wore no shirt of any sort, showing his entire upper body.

Also from the fog emerged a much larger figure, with muscles that exceeded mountains, and fists larger than watermelons. There seemed to be an odd similarity among the two completely different brothers, but neither Kana nor Kieto could lay a finger on it.

The second brother's pitch black skin matched the hard rock covering that made armor for many parts of his gargantuan body.

"I've heard stories of these demons, although they were said to be just myths..." said the woman out of the blue, staring with nothing but pure fear.

"They are Kaze and Demetrio, the brothers of wind and stone! Kaze is known to run among the wind, so that he is too fast for any warrior that dares try to challenge him, not that they could survive the fury of his blades anyway, and Demetrio is known for is ability to make earthquakes with his fists and bearing the strength of a god, tearing mountains apart with ease."

"Nevertheless, as long as they are mortal, me and Kieto should be able to handle them." Kana assured her.

"Your conceit shall be your downfall, foolish warrior" boomed Demetrio the warrior of stone.

"The choice is yours, Kana." Kieto explained. "Choose one for your opponent, and I shall fight the other. But be cautious, for I have a feeling that the boulder and the tornado was but a mere fraction of their strength, simply meant to test us"

"Very well" he agreed.

"Very well" He agreed.

Kana had gotten new swords since the painter had destroyed his last one. He now has two sheaths lying on his back, which contain two katana's three feet long, customized for his fighting technique. Deep within the core of the blades lies the power of lightning, and when he holds them, his inner chi is used for a special sword technique only known as Kesari Reika. He remembers when he first learned the technique from Shadow Otenaki using his Bayako blades, but since the painter destroyed them, he had to use katana's now, which were the original weapons for the Kesari Reika technique. Now was the time to test out his new blades. He called out Kaze to begin the fight. But it seemed that Kaze wanted to start right away, and made a direct hit to Kana's right arm, although it barely hit, Kana could feel a cool crisp wave of air hitting his arm, then a second later it was overtaken by a small amount of pain. He wiped off the blood from the mark, and took out his katana's to prepare for another attack. Kana narrowed his light blue eyes, and used his chi to sense his presence around him, it was difficult, but he barely sensed his presence coming at him at a horrendous speed, Kana new when he would make his move, and blocked Kaze's sword with his right katana.

"But how did you sense me, I'm faster than the wind. No warrior is supposed to see me coming."
"True, I had a difficult time sensing you, but there was one thing you overlooked."
"And what's that?"
"You might have the wind element at your disposal, but I too have an element at my disposal. It's called lightning; I believe you've heard of it." He said as he pushed Kaze away with his blade, and charged at him with equal speed to Kaze, and managed to trim down the long beard going down his chin.

"That beard didn't look good on you so I thought I would remove it for you."
"Why you little…" Kaze seemed a bit upset, and charged at Kana with both of his scimitars, hitting Kana once in his torso, and the other in his left arm.

He's good, really good. I better not underestimate his powers. Although he seems to be underestimating mine, so I think it might be time to show him the time of his life.

Kana increased the flow of his chi which caused lightning to surround his blades, making them more powerful than before. If he was going to win the fight, he had to fight with almost everything he had, so he closed his eyes, noticing a light blue blur coming at him from the left. Kana swung both of his blades in that direction and sent a wave of lightning into Kaze, stopping him in his tracks, and then jumping high into the air, throwing his left blade a few inches behind Kaze, and then shouted:

"Kesari Reika style, Sokkou Kakuzen!" the sky boomed with a dark red lightning bolt, making contact with the blade in Kana's hand, making a dark blue aura shine around him. He then looked down at Kaze, and found him not there anymore, then felt a small thud in his back, and turned around to see Kaze's horrid eyes. Kana faded away and appeared behind Kaze then kicked him in his spine, sending him back into the ground in front of his other blade. He then wasted no time and swung his sword in the direction, making the other blade emit lightning and hit Kaze hard with the force of the lightning.

"I know this isn't all you can do, stop playing around with me and give me all you got."
"You asked for it, punk!" Kaze then disappeared with the wind and suddenly the speed of the wind greatly increased and with Kana's thunderous clouds in the air, merged with the wind, and slowly caused a great hurricane, five hundred mile per hour wind surrounded the battle area. Kana's silver hair was fiercely flowing with the wind and he could barely keep his eyes fully open with the rain coming down quickly. But no matter, he could still fight with no problem at all.

"You and I managed to create a hurricane, nice going. Do you think you can still fight with all this wind?"
"Of course, I can even increase it."
"It's already going five hundred miles per hour, how much faster can you make it go?"
"Just watch, Kana." He said as the wind increased a small tad, making Kana's balance disrupted. He had to concentrate a small bit to keep his balance. Kana landed back on the ground to retrieve his other blade, then looked around for Kaze to see where he went. He knew that he couldn't defeat Kaze in this high amount of wind. He had no choice but to use one of his strong attacks in this battle. But he would not know the outcome of it. The stronger attacks usually take a big toll on his body, but he had to defeat this demon even if it was the last thing he did.

The Invincible Demon Armor

Demetrio stood proud and tall, laughing as he stomped over to Kieto. The rock armor covered most of his bare body, including along the front of his legs, covering his knees. The armor went over his shoulder around the outside his arm, and his fist was entirely covered to add power to his attacks.

This demon beast was truly a monster of legends, for it stood 10 feet tall yet wielded the strength of hundreds!

"Let us begin..." boomed Demetrio, clenching his fists and crouching down. At first there was only a slight rumble, in which Kieto payed barely any heed to, but in short time, the rumble became a strong earthquake, that rocked the trees and tore away at the earth. A crevasse opened up between the two warriors, and Kieto couldn't help but comment on the situation, as the rumbling stopped and the earthquake came to a conclusion.

"You don't think this is a rough way to start?" Kieto asked jokingly, as he backed away to run and jump over the large 50 foot gap.

To dillusion what Kieto could already tell to be a rather unintelligent mind, he pretended not to notice the large rock golem that was had risen from the earth behind him.

But just when the the large boulder fist was about to crush all the bones in his body, Kieto leaped into the air and sliced through the head and a good portion of the body as well! Then he took it upon himself to reduce the entire golem into nothing but rubble.

"Impressive..." laughed Demetria, which was short lived since Kieto had already leaped over the crevasse!

The fight began then, as the earth guardian punched straight through trees and shattered the ground as he leaped and fell! Kieto simply continued to nimbly dodge, and take note of every single possible way to attack. It all seemed quite simple, since his monstrous size and weight prevented him from even coming close to making a hit.

However, what did provoke the warrior was the fact that this demon beast still remained confident! A swift end was in order, and Kieto skidded to a stop and then charged forward just above one of his punches, landing his strike on the armor around the shoulder, expecting rubble to fly everywhere as the transferration fo force shattered the entire armor.

Easily swatting Kieto away, Demetrio laughed and explained, to hammer the horrifying truth into the "weakling's" head.

"This armor was made by myself, hundreds of tons of rock compressed into this small armor, making it invincible to every weapon. Nothing could shatter it, nothing but the magma of the earth itself! Let this be a message to the realm that reigns above... I will go on forever!!!"

Kieto was greatly angered, for although this beast was slow, he was practically invincible, and had the stamina to easily outlast Kieto's fatigue!

"Perhaps this shall go quicker if I call upon the aid of another!" the demon screamed with fury as the ground began to rumble once more. With a large explosion of force, Demetrio was now enchanted with a wind aura!

His next punch told Kieto of his increased speed, sending him high into the air and then deep into the crevasse from before.

Suddenly, the storm clouds above began to circle, and a hurricane began...

The first opponent that I ever had to do this on, I hope this kills him quickly…Mayumi, I hope you're alright wherever you are right now, please get to me soon because there's something I want to tell you

Kana closed his eyes and used his aura around him as a shield to any of Kaze's tricky attacks. He began moving his lips; a grouping of words came out of his mouth in the form of audible vocabulary. He seemed to be speaking in an unknown language as if it was a chant of some sort.

"Von den Himmeln oben, rufe ich zum almighty Lord des Schraubbolzens aus. Versenken Sie meinen Körper mit Ihrem himmlischen Blitz, damit ich das Übel vor mir beseitigen kann."

Just then a huge bolt of energy came down from the skies and engulfed Kana's body with lightning, he then had Kaze in his vision then as if he was lightning itself he appeared in front of Kaze repeatedly striking him with his katana, cutting through his light blue skin, slowly ozzing out was his dark blue blood spreading across his stomach and torso. Then another deep cut appearing in his face and back and multiple wounds appearing in his stomach area. Kaze seemed to be losing a lot of blood. Kana looked on to Kaze and noticed that he had not died from the enormous loss of blood but was still out of commision.

"He's still alive after that, he must be very strong. But I guess I have to use this attack to kill him off quickly." He said as he dashed toward Kaze at an incredible speed and attacked him at him vital points so quickly it was as though the attack was unblockable.

Breathing exhaustedly, Kana looked back at the demon known as Kaze, lying on the ground in his own pool of blood, then looks up at the sky noticing it returning to its once peaceful state. He puts the blade back into its sheath. He slowly walked over to a tree then hopped up onto a branch to watch the fight between Kieto and Dementio. Hopefully Kieto doesn't have as much trouble as Kana did.

The Power of the Mushin

Kieto climbed out bruised and sweaty, where Demetrio was waiting for him. The mosterous demon towered over his "puny" body, and the earth elemental warrior was able to knock Kieto back in with ease.

He waited for a few minutes, only to find Kieto climbing up once more.

"You're a fool, if you think this will help you. You cannot match the strength of the earth god himself!!" yelled Demetrio with disgust, wiating for Kieto to reach the crevasse top.

"Yes, but it is you who doesn't understand the power of my Mushin..." Kieto reminded him, only to be rejected with loud laughter of disbelief.

"Your Mushin is nothing!! Look at you, you look as if you crushed by a mountain!"

Kieto simply smiled.

"You see, my Mushin would be useless normally, but your brother is making things much easier for me..." Kieto explained, suddenly leaping off to the other side of the crevasse!

Demetrio was confused, and in his confusion, Kieto leaped over the crevasse and struck with his sword, only to be disappointed by the lack of effect.

The earth demon grasped him out of the air, and then slammed him against the nearest tree, making sure he took every bit of pain possible before dying.

He threw Kieto hundreds of yard away from the crevasse, and then quickly chased after him to follow up the attack.

Slowly, the wind from the hurricane picked up, and the trees swayed frantically in the air, brushing against Demetrio's rock shell on his chest.

When he finally reached, Kieto stood tall, and held his sword in front of him, pointing upwards. It seemed as if the sword was making a void, and absorbing the wind that came near.

"Your brother has killed you, demon."

Kieto's eyes were shut tightly, and even the ground began to tear around him from the abundance of energy being produced. The trees were now bending in the hurricane, but the void grew bigger as well. Even Demetrio feared it!

How could the little pawn, after being beat to a crisp, knowing that Demetrio's armor was made from hundreds of rocks compressed together was practically invincible, still be confident?! Was his Mushin really so powerful?

Or was it all a bluff? Had it been really powerful, he would not have attacked earlier on. Which means that it could be a bluff, and Demetrio still dominated the battle!

Now angry, the demon walked towards the void and Kieto slowly and cautiously, noticing that even he was being drawn in.

"This void must stop!!!" he screamed furiously over the harsh wind. Gathering all of his strength, he struck the ground and sent a shockwave over to Kieto, which he simply leaped over. But the wind had control over him as long as he was in the air, and he fell rather roughly back on the ground. If it weren't for the void, he probably would have been blown away!

Frantically Kieto returned to the stance he held before, which pleased Demetrio.

"It appears you have to stay in that stance in order to perform that move... so what if I were to stop you?!" he asked, lifting his up his arms and joining his fists.

Slamming the ground, a single force streaked across the ground and exploded under Kieto, sending him flying helplessly in the mounds of rubble that was released! Their he flew fast and hard, but with his careful precision, he was able to use an extremely strong tree to stop him, and then jump back towards Demetrio.

While the void was gone now, the sword was glowing, and the earth demon was having trouble seeing his enemy. Still he swung maniacally at the oncoming Kieto, hoping to knock him into oblivion once and for all.

It was then that Demetrio adjusted, and pulling his arm back, he summoned all the strength in the earth to make a devastating punch!!!

But it was blocked by Kieto's sword!!

Both of them were locked in position now, when the entire shield of rock spontaneously shattered into millions of pieces that flew everywhere!!

Now showing was the true Demetrio, nothing but an extremely muscular demon. Now the demon was vulnerable to Kieto's every attack, and since his skill was inferior to the greatest extent, Kieto's confidence sky rocketed despite his massive injuries.

Now the wind was dying down, the skies returned to normal as well. Neither of them knew what had happened, but neither of them cared as well.

The warrior of stone charged at Kieto with the additional speed of the wind orb, which outlasted Kaze. Still however, Kieto only moved to shift into a defense stance more suitable for the situation, even if it wasn't defense.

At the last second Kieto charged past him and slashed him in the back as he ran, making him stumble over and fall to the ground.

Kieto had skidded to a stop, leaping in the air in order to stab him from above. But Demetrio flipped out of the way back on his feet, punching him straight through two trees and taking the sword.

"This weapon is your only chance, so I shall eliminate it, therefore eliminating your chances and hopes of winning this battle!" he shouted triumphantly as the hurled the sword over the trees into oblivion.

The demon of stone already felt victorious, and his confidence was nothing more than just a symbol of downfall. Kieto realized this, and then rushed back towards him at a reduced speed. His sandals felt weak under his feat after being worn from the constant moving, and the tree branches that have scratched it.

Demetrio ran forth as well, but was caught in the drawing of Kieto's sheath, which was so fast that it knocked him backwards and allowed Kieto to follow up with a jab.

While Demetrio used strength and mass to counter the wind, Kieto used the art of the Mushin, which was all about conquering the mind and having full control over the body, which included unsurpassed balance.

Unfortunately, Demetrio had the stamina of a rock, so although Kieto was battered and bruised to the point where he was ready to faint, Demetrio felt as if he were only just beginning, working up a small sweat as if he had only run a slight jog.

This left Kieto at a serious disadvantage, although the gap had closed a bit from before. It was the exact same problem, where his sheath would do little damage even at pressure points and weak spots while Demetrio's punches packed a stampede of power in return. Kieto's only hope, was the sword.

So Kieto, going agianst his own art, and everything he had learned, tried to summon the Mushin using his sheath instead of his sword, while recieing heavy blows from the powerful demon.

It was after a while that Demetrio began to move slower. However this was not from fatigue. Instead, Kieto used his Mushin to draw the wind energy from the orb, making Demetrio return to his slower speed!!

Now Kieto simply had to use Demetrio's own strength against him, putting everything that he gathered into each blow and slowly weakening the earth demon.

"This has gone too far!" he yelled furiously.

The warrior of stone summoned the energy of the earth itself, and then pounded the ground, creating a barrier of rock that rose at it expanded like a wave! The rock continued to expand, and Kieto decided to use the wind from the Mushin to launch himself high over the wave and into the circle of safety.

But it was too late that Kieto noticed the technique was but a mere distraction, for with his fist on the ground, the earth itself seemed to be swallowing it, making him stronger, and stronger. Still however, he did not gain mass, therefore he did not lose even more speed.

The warrior was now astonishing, shattering trees and rocks with every blow, sending a wave of force with every punch. The warrior stood strong, yet he was completely worn! Apparently it drained all of his energy, so that Kieto could jab him in the stomach hard enough to send blood out of his throat! He continued coughing the crimson liquid, as Kieto ended the battle with a sharp blow to the head, cracking it in two.

Mayumi was still running to catch Kieto and Kana. After being left behind, she had to be fast if she were to make it to them. But the curse that had been placed beneath her skin was slowing her down tremendously. She remembered what the demon with the white hair had told her. I’m dying... she thought. She could feel her insides wasting away as the curse slowly killed her from the inside. Kana, I won’t stop until I find you. Then I’ll kill the demon that did this to me.

She stumbled.

A sharp pain shot through her spine and she crumled to her knees. She gasped for air and waited for the pain to go away. Then she started coughing. She clapped her hand to her mouth as warm blood oozed through her fingers. What’s happening to me? Her heart moaned and ached and her stomach felt as if it was boiling inside of her. Tears stung her eyes and ran down her face. She wiped them away and looked to see that her tears were black. She was crying and darkness was seeping out of her. It was then that she realized how sick she was.

“Shit!” she cursed. She tried to get to her feet. “I can’t give up-” she choked on the blood in her throat. And Kana mustn’t see me like this. He’ll only worry. No one can know that I’m sick. I can sense them, they’re very close.... they’re fighting... I’ve got to get there now before they move on...

She wiped the crimson from her chin and dried her eyes, trying her best to ignore the pain inside of her. Suck it up, Mayumi. You’re a demon and a very strong demon, at that. You will not be taken down by this curse. I refuse to die so easily and I have to help Kana and Kieto. I have to...

She was suddenly pushed back by a gust of strong wind. “What the hell?” A tree came flying at her and she pushed it aside with her left hand. “No problem,” she said, “I can still fight...”

She started running again, the energy she felt was growing stronger and stronger. She could feel it in every muscle and nerve and it kept getting more intense. There were four energies and they were all very strong. Her heart was pounding, but not from running. This energy she sensed was amazing. She pushed herself forward.

Then the energy vanished. The fighting was over. I’ve got to hurry. I’m so close!”

With an extra burst of sudden energy she ran with incredible speed and emerged throught the trees into a clearing. Standing in front of her were Kana, Kieto, and the villagers. They had their backs to her. She stood there, catching her breath. I can’t believe how much weaker this curse has made me. This really sucks, she joked with herself.

Then she opened her mouth and spoke.

“So... you guys thought you could get rid of me, eh?”

After Kieto had defeated his opponent, a few minutes later Kana heard a familiar voice behind him. But the energy he sensed along with it was weaker than what it had been before. He knew something had happened. He turned around to see the most beautiful woman on the planet; Mayumi. His eyes lit up with boundless joy that she was still alive and well, but knew deep within something was wrong with her. He couldn't quite put his finger on it. But if he was going to tell her how he truly felt, that now would have to be the time to do it. He walked up to her, at first looking toward the ground, but grew some courage and looked deep into her gorgeous eyes. He gave a sigh, knowing it would be kind of hard to tell her his true feelings. He gulped and started to speak to her.

"Mayumi, I…have something to tell you."
"What is it, Kana?"
"Well, I just wanted to say that I'm glad to see you again…and that I…uhm…I've fallen for you." With that said he gave a slight blush and looked into her eyes with his moistened eyes. He loved the girl with all of his heart and he wouldn't bare it if she didn't feel the same way about him. He wouldn't know what else to do if she denied his love for her. Different outcomes had occurred in his mind. If she did accept his love for her, he would be the happiest guy alive. He would finally have someone to spend his lifetime with, fighting all sorts of evil throughout the continents. He then was brought back to reality as she wiped his tears away, and took one step closer to him. What would she say to him? Would it be a good outcome or a bad one? He was eager as she began to move her luscious lips to speak.

"Kana, I…"

"Kana, I...."

She paused, her mind racing. Somehow, she had known all along... but now that it had been said... what could she say? There was nothing to say... she couldn't find the words. She looked into his anxious and somehow enchanting eyes. He reminded her of someone... Someone she had lost, but had been very close to in the past. She blinked and bit her lip nervously. Now that she had thought about it, there was no one on this planet she cared about more.

It was then that Mayumi did something rather out of character for her, being the apathetic demon that she was. She put her hand on Kana's flushed cheek, then brought it to the back of his neck and pulled his face very close to hers. She kissed him. Her cheeks were bright red, but she didn't care. He loved her, and she had grown to love him. It didn't matter that she would be dead soon if she didn't kill that demon. It didn't matter that until now, much of her emotions had been clouded with sadness. It didn't matter that they had more important things to do than stand around and kiss. All that mattered was that in a second, her heart had gone from frigidly cold, to passionately warm. She had that familiar feeling pulsing through her veins again and, for a moment, nothing else made sense in her mind. She was in love again.

Kana had been surprised by her bold action, but very soon she felt his arm slip comfortably around her waist.

Blur

Keito smiled. Even in his weakened state he was glad to see them finally get together. Especially after all this delay.

He decided to give them some privacy, nudging the boy and the woman to come with him. The best thing to pass time would be to look for his sword, and since he knew the general direction of where it went, there wouldn't be much of a problem at all.

It was then that Kieto remembered. The boy's wound was extremely deep, and while the battle took place he just kept losing blood.

Now he could barely walk, and Kieto had to lift him.

Truly, the fact was undeniable. The boy was infected, with some demon curse unknown to any of them. This meant that Mayumi might not be able to help as well!

Then Kieto had an idea. Running through the forest, he tried using the Mushin to locate his missing Katana. In the process he leaped across a few streams, but he remembered Demetrio throwing it farther, so he went on.

This area of the forest was littered with trees, and he had to follow a never straight path until he could feel his presence. It was then that he slowed down, and started walking towards it.

The katana was stuck in the ground, conveniently in the center of a clearing, where anybody could be watching. He felt really suspicious now, and walking up to it, he used the Mushin before setting his grip on the hilt of the blade.

An arrow flew straight at his head, and he sliced it away with one quick slash of his sword in a quick motion!

Now he knew the location of the assailant, but just when he was about to go after him or her, he realized the other issue was much more important.

Running against the clock, Kieto put all of his energy into full speed, and payed no heed whatsoever to his silent persuer.

A black blur danced in the trees above, leaping from branch to branch so quickly that it easily overtook Kieto.

Could it be... the ninja?!

When the Mushin sense grew strong, Kieto knew he had to stop, for just then the Ninja charged from the front, the two swords locked together in place. The charge pushed Kieto back into the tree, but before he could get a glance, the blur had already zoomed back into the treetops.

He rushed some more, and by the time he got there, the boy was already there on the ground, dead. Tears rushed out of the eyes, even though he hardly knew the boy. And in a desperate attempt, he dropped the jewel on the area of the wound.

"Only a true warrior can awaken the powers of this gem..."

He lifted his ancient katana high the air, and summoning the great powers of the wind, he powered up the blade, and struck the gem in such manner, that a magnificent explosion of light blinded them all!

When the light died down, they were all rubbing their eyes, only to find that gem was shattered, and the boy was in perfect condition!

It appears that the holy powers of the gem has saved your life.

Meanwhile, the woman looked as if she were now 50 years older, feeble as well. Something was terribly wrong with her. Her skin was wrinkled, and her eyes were blood red. Perhaps her life energy was drained for his?!



Everything seemed to be okay again, even Laura, the woman, seemed to be recovering. Kana and Mayumi were madly in love, and Kieto couldn't help but feel extremely happy for them. The only downside was that the ninja got away.

With that final blow, that released the light in the darkness gem, Kieto had ascended to a whole new level of the Mushin.
