With MinTee resigning, Clubs needs a new mod. It is a very high traffic forum and there have been a bunch of topics lately that haven't been registered. Its too active a forum for just one person to handle.

The person I would suggest for the job is Piroblaze. He is by for the most active person in clubs right now, and if you go and search for his posts, almost all of them are in Clubs. He's even went through some topics and told people that they have to register before starting a topic. I think he would be perfect for the job.

I totally agree, Piroblaze would be perfect. If he spends most of his time there and advises topic starters anyway, he's definatley the man for the job.

Yeah he CAN do the job, but the thing with this guy that annoys me is he joins almost EVERY club there is. *ahem* But anyway for now, Dawezy has shown intrest in helping me out, so ill nominate him as a co-mod for with me at clubs.

Can I ask why the fact that he joins a lot of clubs makes any sort of difference? He's still the most active person in there, and he's showed that he isn't just some post whore. His posts have thought and he seems like he'd make a good mod.

No offense to Dawezy, but is he even really active in there? We know Piroblaze is, and I just think he'd be better in that spot.

Yeah, i seldom post in more then a few clubs, and ive noticed the huge dump of dead clubs at the end, when i made it aware to Kairi on AIM he mentioned that he needed a bit of help, so yeah, i'd be more then happy to pitch in.. N-Gen hasnt been all that busy lately, so i could help more

But if you want Piro in there, ehh... its all good i guess, i find most of his posts to be below standard but thats just me, he doesnt put in much more then 2 sentences, in most of the posts i have seen.. and i think he needs to put more thought into his posts, etc...

Ive recently told him to actually Stop doing short posts and he has aknowledged that, so i'd assume he has been doing longer posts then that.

In some of the older clubs (on the last page of Clubs i think) he did a few rather short posts, so did Exodus for that matter.. heh.. but hes not in the question really. Apart from that, ive taken into account he is well, a n00b, in some respects.. his joining date; 08-09-2002 that was only a month ago wasnt it? yeah.. bit over Month and a half, and he already 1/3 of my postcount technically.. so, to get that many posts in just over a month, you would have to post alot, which he does.. and not all of it is actual good content... the time it took me to get to 1000+ posts was damn.. about 3-4 months i think...

Yeah, ive said enough to start an argument, heh.

Oh, and no offense taken there Nick.

Let's not forget this is only nominations, but for one, I completley disagree on PiroBlaze for the spot. Does it mean if someone is active they immediatley should get the spot? Hell, that guy is probably the biggest post whore i've seen since that Laguna dumbass. If he get's this mod spot, I can guarantee you that it will go to his head.

Hey, its not my fault people have nothing better to do with their lives than post.

I didn't realise he was a post whore though. I saw that he was active and that all of the posts I saw were good ones. Guess he has less of a life than I first thought...

EDIT: That doesn't change my stance on the fact that I still think a non mod should get it. People have 3,4,5 forums and yet they still get nominated over other people who have 1 or less forums. I know that I thought that the "Inner Circle" crap was kinda BS, but there are hundreds of good members here and none of them are getting the chance they deserve.

What the hell are you talking about? The thing that usually makes us not want to give people modship is when they ask for it. We've never given anyone a mod spot just because they asked for one. If we think people would make good mods, and there is an open forum, then we nominate them. Thats the way its always been.

I don't know what to say on this matter really.

On one side, i don't think he's quite ready to be a mod.

On the other, I do sort of agree that it should be a non mod that takes it, partially to dispell the inner circle image, but also because most of the mods that would do good in it are already quite loaded down with other spots, at the point where they might as well become supermods if they gain anymore (I doubt any of them would object to that. ;6)

On another, I agree with cloud that it shouldn't really go to someone who's asked for it, at least publically, it's usually a blacklist offence. If it's done over PMs and asking if it is possible, as discreetly as possible, I guess. But otherwise, it'd set very bad precedent.

But in the end, unless I see a better alternative than Piroblaze, I do believe I would have to side on the argument that Dawezy would be best suited for the position.
