War of Darkness (TFF Royalty only)
((OoC:Just in case someone happened to pop in here without actually reading the entire title, this is an RP for the TFF Royalty members only
And a small note for the members, you do not have to use your Royalty name/title if you do not wish to)) Neko Aizou waited out in the courtyard for some company she was to have over to speak with. She paced back and forth holding a rolled up piece of paper in her hand, waiting for the few people to arrive at her small palace of the Hiroshu kingdom. The town and castle were not very large since most of their kingdom was farmland. The people there lived harmoniously, elves with humans.Neko, herself, was half human and elf.Her mother passed away when she was quite young so she had very vague memories of her.Neko hardly mourned over her death, since she hadn't any memories of her except her appearance, which most resembled herself. Her long elven ears and elgant childlike face was similar to that of her mothers. "Ma'am.."A gently voice said."The ladies and lords have arrived..they await your company in the main hall.."The butler said, holding the glass door open for Neko. She nodded and entered the doors, making her way towards the main hall. Her emerald green dress flowed behind her as she walked quickly. The large room was almost one of a ball room, only it had carpting and velvet seats for meetings and such. Neko noticed the few lords and ladies quickly, and she unrolled the piece of paper. "I thank you all for travelling so far and coming here..I have called you here because I have recieved notice of an attack from Lord Legion,"She began. "I know this doesn't seem much of a problem at the moment..but Lord Legion has an army millions times the size of any of our own..if he is to attack one of our kingdoms, that will surely effect another and soon we will all be defeated. I have called you here because i know you are some of the greatest leaders that i was told of..We must think of a way to defeat Legion, possibly before he can send his troops to attack us.She said as she held out the scroll of paper to one of the people there to read for themselves.. Shinobi, the king of his realm named Shokan, had received the emergency invitation of Neko Aizo, who was a fellow ruler.
Their two kingdoms were separated by a gigantic mountain range, wich was unable to pass by normal travelers. The letter didn't gave away much information, but he could understand that she was in a need of help. And since he had promised to help her whenever she would be in a need for help, he left his chambers the next day immediately. In his kingdom theer wasn't such thing as a royal family. The king was elected hence his skills. The people who lived here were all soldiers and other types of powerfull people. Shinobi himself was a ninja who had descended from the traditional family of Shinobi warriors. His family had suffered much since that day, but now he had revenged all their sufferings. He had managed to become the best of his country and that's why he got elected to become the king of his people. He had left his palace by foot. Of course he could use a horse or a chocobo, but he preferred to go by foot, the traditional way for ninja's to move. When he was still a young kid he used to train a lot in the mountain range, climbing and stealthing. That was one of the places where he had changed into whet he was right now. And that was the reason why he was able to cross the mountains and reach the palace of Neko Aizou. Sinc ethat day he had staid at the palace, waiting for the convention that was heald today. He was sitting on his velvet seat, wich made him feel like he was a god. He looked around the hall a bit, observing the other people one by one. He came to the conclusion that he almost knew nobody. The Queen started to talk and he listened closely to her, thinking of what he could do. He knew he ahd one of the best armies that existed, but they had to get over the mountains the same way he managed to and that was the problem. |

"Ryäyukou Insa-sama, your tea is ready."
"Thank you. Just leave it on the table," Ryäyukou Insa, High Lady of Lunatic Pandora, looked out her bedroom window over her kingdom. LP was peaceful for now, but she could sense something, maybe rain. She shrugged, turned around, sat down on a chair and sipped her tea. Her long, blonde hair cascaded down her shoulders like a shining river. Ryäyukou sighed, and looked at her tan skin. A Dark Elf, she was sometimes ridiculed because of her race. Dark Elves were known for being sneaky spies, and not everyone trusted her. Actually, she wasn't all Dark Elf. Born of an Elf mother and human father, she wasn't trusted by humans very much, and she had never seen her own kind, other then her mother. How could they leave her to rule on her own? Assassinated by goblins and trolls on the way to a land called Terra, Ryäyukou was the rightful heir to the throne, and almost as soon as she had heard about her parents death, she became Lady of LP. She was 18 today; the age to marry. She glared at the tea in her cup; she didn't want to be given away so easily. She wanted to marry for love, but she didn't know what love was. A tear fell from her eye into her tea. "Ryäyukou Insa-sama, it's time," her guardian, Anthropos, said from outside her room. "Alright, I'll get ready," she told him. She sat up and went over to her closet and opened it up. She quickly put on a violet-ish, very revealing suit. She combed her hair till it shined like gold. She wrapped her tiara around her forehead, completing her wardrobe. Ryäyukou stepped outside her room, and Anthropos was waiting. He bowed. "You look lovely, m'lady." "Thank you." Ryäyukou said and smiled. Anthropos offered his arm. She took it, and her guardian escorted her down the stairs, to the main hall room, where princes waited. |

Lady Rosa of Zakiria had gotten Neko's message and was ready to go over to the Hiroshu Kingdom. She was a fellow ruler and was half light elf and half human. Rosa had elf like ears and slightly curly dark brown hair that hung just above her shoulders. She had brilliant green eyes that sparkled when she was happy.
She was travelling in a horse drawn carriage that was just going up Neko's drive. "We're here Lady Rosa." her butler said. For the occasion, she had putten on a white singlet shirt that was tucked into her purple ankle length skirt. She had black ankle boots on and had a sash around her waist that was yellow and had pink and purple flowers on it. It had green leaves on it too. Her butler quickly escorted her into the main hall and she began to listen to Neko Aizou. Her butler waited over near the door... (I know it's short but....) |

Ryäyukou came into the main hallroom, but to her surprise, no men were in the room. "What's going on?" she asked Anthropos, who was just as surprised. "I... I don't know, my lady." he answered. Suddenly, the double doors slammed open and a soldier ran in, carrying some kind of scroll.
"Ryäyukou-sama! I have just recieved an urgent message from Neko Aizou! You must read it now!" He bowed, then handed the scroll to her, but after handing it to her, he looked into her eyes for a second. Anthropos pushed him back. "How dare you gaze at the lady like that!" he scolded. "I'm sorry! I had heard of the lady's eyes, but I had never seen them before!" the soldier cried out. Ryäyukou put her hand on Anthropos' arm. "It's alright." She knew what her eyes were like: Her right eye was blood red, like a true Dark Elf. The other was a swirl of gold and blue, her father's eye. Most times many would just look into her eyes and be memerized. Anthropos glared at the soldier, making the soldier back away, then he ran out. Ryäyukou was already reading it. After a few minutes, she glanced at Anthropos, her eyes full of worry. "It's from my friend, Neko Aizou! Anthropos, we must hurry to her kingdom!" Anthropos nodded. He knew not to ask questions. "We'll take the wyverns. It's a three day journey to her kingdom on foot, but we'll make it in less then an hour if we take the wyverns" Ryäyukou nodded. She ran out towards the stables, with Anthropos close behind her. |

Rosa who had been listening, to Neko Aizou talk, noticed someone standing in the hall, just a few metres away from her. It was Shinobi, her old friend. He was the ruler of Shokan. She quietly walked over to him, and tapped him on the shoulder. Rosa watched him as he turned around and his face light up when he saw her.
"Shinobi!" she whispered to him. "How are you?" she asked him. "Great." he said astounded. Lady Rosa smiled and stood next to him, listening to Neko, very carefully. |

Lady Alias of Versailles was riding on a pure white horse through the great valleys of Tabetha with her twin brother, Sir Aaron of Versailles who rode on a dark brown horse. They were accompanied by two horsemen and several soliders were they all were headed to Hiroshu Kingdom because of an urgent message from Neko Aizou. Neko was the leader of the kingdom and a close allie to the Versailles Castle and the twins themselves. They had made ties only a few short years ago after Alias' and Aaron's father had passed away and who was too stubborn to allie with Neko before. This was the first that they heard of Neko since their alliance was made and knew that it must be very important if Neko insisted them to join her for some very distressing news. They had left early that morning before the sun rose and they would make their way into the Kingdom late that night.
And it was a dark and cold night as they rode through the valley of Tabetha. Four soliders were located in front of Alias and Aaron while four were located behind them as well, not to mention two were located on either sides of them. All of these soliders however were for protection, for Aaron and Alias were the rulers of Versailles and if they died their kingdom would crumble. In front two horsemen led the way to the Kingdom for they knew the fastest route through the forest of Eden and down the paths of the Tabetha valley, this made their journey twice as fast. Finally they approached their destination, coming up to the kingdom which was surrounded by farmland. The group slowed down and rode down the dirt paths worn from the farming equipment that had been pulled down the roads for many, many years. They made their way to the Castle where the heavy door lowered and let them enter, riding up to the entrance doors. Aaron dismounted showing off his tall muscular build. He was at the age of 22 just like his twin sister and was at the height of 6'5 with golden blond hair and violet eyes. He worn silver gaunlets and armor with a long black cape, the only jewerly he worn was that of a necklace with a silver cross on it, he gently tucked it under his armor and pulled his hood's cape up and over his head. Aaron then walked next to the stunning white horse which his sister had rode and placed a hand on the horses neck, then he outstretched his other hand to his sister to help her down. She took his hand and slowly she slid down off the horse. Alias was much shorter then he, but she was still tall for a women at 5'9, she had the same golden hair and violet eyes as her brother and wore a beautiful light blue dress that had a diamond shaped cut through the stomach area revealing her bare stomach and a beautiful diamond which dangled from her belly button. The dress was very unique with strings that tied around her neck leaving her shoulders bare and leaving a low cut at her chest, it also was thin and dragged on the floor which you could tell the edges were worn. She wore black long gloves and a matching cape just like her brother and the same silver cross showed on her chest. She, like her brother, tucked the cross into the front of her dress and pulled her hood over her head, The twins, the soliders, and horsemen then began their asscent up the stairs of the royal home of Neko. They were greeted by a man who was sure to be Neko's butler and were asked that only Alias and Aaron follow him into the meeting room while the soliders and horsemen were guided away by other servants of the kingdom to rest, eat, and wash up. The twins followed the butler into the huge room where other lords and ladies were seated talking amoungst themselves. They both sat down upon the velvet chairs which were comforable and very large awaiting for the host, Neko to present herself as the butler walked back through the doors off to do more work. "Aaron, do you have any clue what might be going on?" Alias asked her brother following suit of the other Lords and Ladies talking to each other. "I believe we will be finding out right this moment..." Aaron said as he looked over to the doors where Neko herself entered the room and sat down at her throne. "I thank you all for travelling so far and coming here... I have called you here because I have recieved notice of an attack from Lord Legion," she began. "I know this doesn't seem much of a problem at the moment... but Lord Legion has an army millions times the size of any of our own... if he is to attack one of our kingdoms, that will surely effect another and soon we will all be defeated. I have called you here because i know you are some of the greatest leaders that I was told of... We must think of a way to defeat Legion, possibly before he can send his troops to attack us." She said as she held out the scroll of paper to one of the people there to read for themselves. The one to take it was none other then Shinobi, the King of Shokan. He read it to himself as Neko looked to the Lords and Ladies of the room. Aaron stood up and began to talk, "I believe, my lady, that we must work out a plan to infiltrate his huge empire and break him down from within his devilish schemes and find out his plans. If we find out who he is to attack first we can assemble all our troops before the kingdom he will attack and stop him before he touches the innocents of whichever kingdom. If it is war he wants, then war he shall get... but what he won't know is that we all will be working together. If my calculations are correct, all our kingdoms combined have plenty more troops then he and with that in mind we could possibly become indestructible." Aaron finished and bowed his head slightly then sat down, his sister looking at him with proud eyes. She knew her brother well and he always had a plan for everything, he was a great man and she knew he was going to become something bigger once he grew older. Schorl took a deep breath, filling his lungs with the clear, forest air, and sat back in his chair, his hand came round in a wide sweping motion and his chair lifted off the ground and turned to face the window that overlooked his kingdom, he sighed contentedly as his eyes swept over the wooden houses that sprawled towards the horizon, and the stone towers that reached up towards the clouds, the corners of Schorls lips twisted upward into a satisfied smile as he observed his kingdom, with another wave of his hand he turned to face the miniature red dragon perched on his desk, he reached his hand out and petted its neck before untying the message attached to its back, he sat back and read it through twice before frowning and layig the letter to one side and reaching for a peice of parchment, his other hand retrieves his quill from his robes, its magic keeping it permanently stocked with ink, Schorl begins to scrawl upon the parchment in a runic script that all in his kingdom both reads and writes, he signs it and checks it through before tying it to the dragons back and offering the miniture lizard a chunk of meat, the dragon devours it hungrily and sqawks its thanks before leaping from the window and gliding back to the guardhouse it was dispatched from, Schorl picks the letter back up and reads it through once more, perhaps to find some detail he missed before.
"Well, I guess she always was a little obscure in her letters... but I suppose its done its job, I'm intrigued by this letter yet i feel the need for urgency." Schorl sighs in an irritated manner and shakes his head slowly before massaging his forehead with one hand, his other hand raises and he clicks his fingers, the sound ringing loud and clear through his castle and calling the attention of his servants, one enters and bows slightly, Schorls insists on less formality than his servants feel necessary. "How can i help you sir?" "I am taking leave for the kingdom of Hiroshu for a couple of days... I shall require the regular precautionary items and an escort, send a messenger to the cove, I shall need no less than five dragons, tell them to saddle and feed them immediately... another thing, in a matter of minutes 4 soldiers and one mage will arrive at the door, escort them to the cove and be sure they do not wander." "Immediately sir." The servant bows as he backs out of the room, closing the door with a near silent click and relaying his orders to the other servants, Schorl stands os the sound of busy footsteps recedes down the corridor and Schorls walks to the window it opens as he approaches it and a gargantuan silver reptilian head rises to stare at him through the open window, he smiles as he stares back and holds the open Scroll before him for the dragon to read, the dragon snorts as he finishes reading it, sending a small tongue of flame from his nostrils and incinerating a small bush. "And what has this to do with us, wizard?" "Come now Gryphen, you're as intrigued as i am, and i know it!" "Hmph, that may be so, but i don't go gallavanting off on a fools quest every time something interesting graces my vision" "Well maybe if you did you wouldn't be so close minded and cynical!" They stare at each other for a few moments and then start to chuckle. "Well wizard, i know i cannot change your mind so why even bother, when do we leave?" "Momentarily, the castle door opens as we speak and the dragons in the cove are ready to take wing, we should reach Hiroshu castle before sundown, then we can find out what it is that we are so curious about." "That is if we're not already late, i know your sense of timing wizard, that little red dragon was in there for the better part of this day before you read the dratted message." "I'm sure i told you about spying on me before, Gryphen... there's more interesting people in this town than me." The door to Schorls room swings noiselessly open and Schorls turns to face the servant bowing in the doorway, a book and a small clear crystal orb held in his right hand and his eyes fixed upon the dragons head staring at him through the window, I suppose some will never be used to the dragons, its a blessing that so many have adapted... Schorl waved his hand dismissively in an attempt to focus the servants attention on him rather than the dragon, maybe then he would be able to speak, the servant regains his composure and steps forwards to hand Schorl the book and the orb, then backs out of the room, seeming unable to put sentences together with the dragons eyes upon him, Schorl places the orb in one of the myriad of pockets contained within his robe and motions toward his staff, the gnarled oaken staff seems to leap from the corner and slaps against the soft flesh of his palm with an audible thump, the unperturbed Schorl utters a few syllables nad rises into the air, his white robes remaining perfectly still and seemingly unaware of the change in altitude, he folds his legs underneath him and floats through the open window and seats himself of Gryphens back, not needing a saddle because his magic was enough to hold him in place. "Take me to the cove Gryphen, then to Hiroshu, our curiosities will soon be satisfied." Gryphen merely nods as he spreads his wings and leaps over the cliff face to glide around the clifftop castle towards the cove, Schorls eyes fix upon the holes dotting the cliff face as soon as they come into view, Gryphen glides through the largest and lands lightly on the uneven rocky ground, caves breaking off from the main cave are where the dragons are raised, fed and hatched, Schorl glances to the five dragons arranged for his escort, one glitters a magnificient green and its tail lashes and cracks like a whip, another shimmers every colour imaginable and seems formed from light rather than flesh and bone, one is so black it seems to be as insubstantial as a shadow, another seems to be more snakelike and its movements flow together giving the impression of a dangerous predator ready to pounce, the last stands tall and unmoving, its colour a regal gold and its wings are enveloped in metallic feathers that gleam even in the relative darkness of the cove, Schorl nods appreciatively A decent spread, each has an air of experience, i must remember to thank the cove master Schorl transfers his gaze to his escort and notices a similar air of experience and nods once more. "Gentlemen, i recieved a letter of some urgency this morning, i cannot yet discuss the matter of our journey, mainly because i do not yet know exactly what it is, but i feel that the cogs of fate are turning in ways that shall test us all in a manner nothing else in our lifetime has, i am not ordering you as king, to accompany me, i'm asking you, as a friend, to follow me into the unknown and face what may lie there, will you come with me?" A ringing cry of 'yes' echoes through the cove and Schorl smiles and turns to the dragons and explains the situation to them in draconian, they each nod in turn and lower there bellies to the ground to allow the small company to climb into the saddles, the dragons rise to there feet again and as one they spring towards the cave mouth and take to the sky, Gryphen quickly takes the lead and blazes a trail towards the horizon and beyond the massive forest encompassing Schorls kingdom. The sun had just set by the time the dragons reached the castle, the soldiers and guards below milled about, unsure of what to do as the dragons circled the castle once and dropped lightly towards the courtyard, a slight shudder ran through the earth as the dragons landed and Schorl dismounted and motioned to the others to await his return, he patted Gryphens side and strode across the courtyard and spoke briefly to a guardsmen while displaying the letter he recieved, the guard nods and points him towards some double doors at the end of a stone pathway, he nods once and thanks the guard before striding over to and through the doorway and is met at the bottom by Lady nekos butler, a brief exchange of harsh words prompts Schorl to display the letter again, the butler blushes and motions for Schorl to follow as he starts up the stairs, Schorl follows, his face set in stone and his eyes barely managing to disguise his curiosity, his gaze sweeps the room as the butler opens the doors and displays the massive room and its occupants, some of which he cannot recall meeting before, and nods to each seated within as he strides through the room and sits in a tall backed velvet chair and lays his staff and his spell book across his lap. "i apologize for my lateness Lady Neko, i stand ready to assist you or any of the neighbouring kingdoms in any way i can... but before i can act, would you mind filling me in on the crisis, or even crises, that urged you to send me this letter?" Schorl pulls the said scroll from his pristine white robes and places it on the table then sits back and his eyes can no longer contain his curiosity as he waits on an answer. |

Rosa stood, quietly, listening to and watching Neko Aizou, the ruler of Hiroshu, speak about defeating the Lord Legioin region.
Suddenly, a gust of wind blew some hair into her face and she brushed it back with her gentle hand with it's soft pink nails. She smiled sweetly and looked at Neko say, "I thank you all for travelling so far and coming here..I have called you here because I have recieved notice of an attack from Lord Legion," She began. "I know this doesn't seem much of a problem at the moment..but Lord Legion has an army millions times the size of any of our own..if he is to attack one of our kingdoms, that will surely effect another and soon we will all be defeated. Then Neko passed around a scroll..... |

Neko passed out the scroll.Written on it with elgant handwriting was Lord Legion's letter towards the royalty.
"Lords, ladies,Kings and Queens; I now send message of war on the fields of the Hiroshu kingdoms, just below the cliffs to the east. My troops are sure to be ready in just a matter of months, whether yours are or are not will be your business and loss.Battle will begin at dawn. It is time we spread our kingdom farther, dominating one kingdom after another.I have chosen the Hiroshu kingdom and all areas around it. My reason for that decision will soon be explained when you are defeated.I expect you to be prepared by then,i shall not wait for you to arrive." The short confusing letter explained. Neko hardly understood anything written on it besides the portion of war. This letter wasn't very detailed on reasons why, which bothered her.She sighed and held her hands together on her lap as she stood in front of the lords and ladies trying to think. Aaron spoke up,explaing a plan which seemed quite well thought.it seemed like a good chance for them to attack, and she nodded with approval to the plan. "I searched around for a possible date..but found nothing.Perhaps a suprise attack is what he has in mind,"She said confusingly. As neko finished, she noticed Schorl entering the room, his white robes flowed behind as if a creeping spirit.he excused his tardyness and bowed.Neko smiled gently and returned the bow with one of her own.She read him the letter and let him observe it himself.. |

"I searched around for a possible date, but found nothing. Perhaps a suprise attack is what he has in mind, " Neko said confusingly. Just then Schorl entered the room, his white robes flowed behind as if a creeping spirit. He excused his tardiness and bowed. Neko smiled gently and returned the bow with one of her own. She read him the letter and then let him observe it for himself.
"What needs to be done then is this, simply do whatever we can at the moment, there is only a few hours until dawn, correct? I say we get all troops and soliders that are as close as possible and set them up to protect the castle. Then we will send out word to get as many troops from around the surrounding area to come and aide us in this time of struggle, that is the best possible thing we can do, correct Neko?" Lady Alias spoke, her soft caring voice playing like a harp in the gigantic room. Her brother sitting at her side nodded in agreement and some of the other Lords and Ladies nodded their heads in approval as well. "We must act quickly and if time is our vurture, just maybe he won't attack for a few days and we could get a large enough group assembled to the point that this Kingdom won't be touched and neither will any of the surrounding Kingdoms." Alias finished and then bowed her head slightly and sat back down. |

Schorl shakes his head as he examines the letter and shakes his head again as Lady Alias speaks, the frown lines lining his forehead readily apparent as his expression turns sour and saddenned.
"I cannot agree Lady Alias, I believe it to be too convenient for a letter to arrive advising us to gather out forces, Sir Aaron has already commented on the size of Lord Legions army, perhaps gathering against this assault could be playing right into his hands." Schorl notices the many confused faces staring at him in a silent question of explanation, he nods" "it is likely that Lord Legion knew that Lady Neko would seek the help of the gathering kingdoms, he would also be sure of our actions... imagine this scenario, our forces mass to face Lord Legion on the Hiroshu plains, that leaves the surrounding kingdoms exposed and vulnerable, Lord Legion sends a token force forwards in order to keep us at bay while he captures the other kingdoms, destroying the morale of the force we have gathered here, in short, victory shall be his in a matter of days... if he were to take each kingdom one by one, it would take him weeks or even months, this way he can be assured of a quick victory with minimal losses." Schorl sits back and his frown deepens and he allows himself and everyone else a little time to think before speaking again. "I suggest we each bring a force that shall be large enough to help, yet leave enough behind to keep our kingdoms safe, also, we keep them ready for duty during their waking hours and prepared to move out to assist the hiroshu kingdom if reinforcements could be beneficial, i personally shall send half of my dragon riders and a third of my borderguard and a third of my mages, the dragon riders shall remain hidden until the time comes to strike, if it is neccessary, i can also send dragons to each kingdom to send word of the need for reinforcements... i would also suggest that we confine talks of this matter to this room and set a guard at the foot of the stairs, Lord Legion has spies everywhere and the less he knows of our plans the better." He looks around as the gathered Lords and Ladies nod and mutter their agreement. |
