Anime help!

Yeah i'm just finishing up watching Berserk and i love it..

Its gory and its a fantasy anime with no annoying characters and no bubbly stupid people in it...

I was just wondering if anyone could recommend and more animes like berserk or just a gory fantasy anime for me to watch that you thought was good.

Wicked City was good. Although it had a lot of horror elements and not as much fantasy. I guess this is fresh on my mind because I just watched it.

Sounds a bit like Ninja Scroll might be up your alley (if you haven't already seen it)...Elfen Lied is pretty gory at times as well, but not quite the same sort of action most of the time...I haven't actually seen Berserk, myself, but I think I've heard enough about it...*shrugs*

Air gear - Cool anime and freakin awesome.
Kashimashi (Girl meets girl) - Lesbian anime..almost
Full Metal Panic- frakin funny anime and it got some action.
Onagi teacher - funny romantic anime.
Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan- freakin cool anime.

Wow, the previous poster was way off your style. I would second Ninja Scroll, and would also recommend Blood+ (non-fantasy though). I'm also still looking for a good fantasy anime similar in style to Berserk. I did find "Record of Lodoss Wars", first season, which was not bad (if you don't mind the occasional-but-not-overwhelmingly silly character), but was certainly aimed at a younger audience, and then they totally killed it with the second season (totally disgustingly changed everything! F***in' sellouts!).

Anyway, Claymore was pretty good, and similar in style, though the storyline's been done countless times (it's even done in the Berserk manga during the whole berserker armor arc).

Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto is another one that I think was kind of bloody and serious, but I only saw one or two episodes. I don't remember why I stopped watching it, actually, so you might want to check it out for yourself.

I would have to 3rd Ninja Scroll, but I am going to have to disagree with fleeting on his opinion of records. The second season was amazing outside of the damned "second part". It did a nice recap of the first season altering only a few different things and added alot more content into the history of lodoss. Also season two seemed to aimed at a more mature croud. The over all story of RoLW was great and had an amazing classic anime feel to it.

Some others that I would recommend would be along the lines of:

Pincess Mononoke
Black Lion
Sword of the Stranger
Hellsing
Vampire Hunter D
and Vampirehunter D: Bloodlust

Given that not all are of the specific genra that you have listed and most are movies, I think you will find something in all of them that will appeal to you.

If you are looking for something outside of that genra set that you have vaugly described I would suggest:

GreenLegend Ran
Perfect Blue (very twisted after you make it through the intro)
and Blue Submarine
