Best Anime Ever

I don't watch TV >_> But I'll see what I can conjure up.

Elfen Lied. Hands down. I can't believe alot of people haven't heard of it.

Lot's of gore and killing. Plus, very creative main characters. Not to mention some of the background art is the best that I've ever seen.

hmmmm.....1. cowboy bebop-becauses its got a nice story line about how a bounty hunter is trying to find a girl that he loves and a man he hates all at the same time trying to make a little bit of money on the side. With the help of a former cop, a beautiful bounty hunter,a teenage computer hacker and a dog...

I've been conflicted for quite a while now from two of the great studio Gainax's productions.

NGE (Neon Genesis Evangelion) And Flcl (Furi Kuri):

FLCL: Because of it's simple beauty mixed with the extremely deeply hidden plot behind the crazy switching throughout the series, bonded together through the music of the Pillows. It's fault though is it's short episodes, this is the number one anime that deserved more episodes. A good 20 would have done it.


This is why Neon Genesis Evangelion wins, a good running anime, movies included. This anime even touches my dark heart with the struggles of Shinji and all of the other troubled characters. The philosophical message in this anime is stunning, and can only be truly appreciated by one with an intellectual capacity. Beautifully drawn characters mixed with it's own good music. The hidden ego's and messages truly complete this anime.

I haven't really watched much Anime but going through school DBZ was the trend, at first it seemed really good but the whole immaturity/good guys thing got boring real quick. I have just moved with my mum who has Cartoon Network and seem as how I am nocturnal I have been watching a bit of anime on adult swim. Kenshin would of had to been my favourite so more, I am interested in the Feudal era so I will continue to watch it. I don't really like the whole futurist anime though. Sorry if I am a bit off topic but yeah

In my opinion, I think that Bleach is the best anime ever. Why? Bleach has great characters and while the plot might not seem original, the show goes with the plot really well. Also, since Rukia is always there, I watch the show more and more. She's my favorite character after all.

I don't watch alot of anime, but here it goes anyway.

Gungrave would have to be my favorite. I enjoy it, because it's about 2 best friends who work together to get to the top, and as much as they go through they are still alwasy there for eachother. In the end after a major fight they realize that they were best friends all along, and even though they had problems they know that they are still the best of friends. I gave no detail on that, so if you watch it, nothing will be spoiled for you.

Super Milk Chan-------Same as Furi Kuri--CUCKOO STORIES!!!!!
Vandread-------Computer animation, a lot of sexed babes chasing the hotheaded Hibiki, who's doing his best to avoid the likes of Misty, Dita and the blonde diva known as Jura (who was the first to kiss the H-man).
Witch Hunter Robin-------Elengant beauty from the title character, Robin Sena and Dojima and Karasuma.
Ghost In The Shell, Stand Alone Complex-------An envisioned idea if we replaced our body parts with machines and communicated with each other using our minds in conjunction with computers.
Cowboy Bebop-------Now here's an anime show!! Starring a motley crew of Spike, Jet, Edward and Faye, they gave people the idea that it's OK to travel and colonize the other planets.
Wolf's Rain-------Poingant and sad, I feel like wanting to be part of that wolf pack myself, and search for paradise with them, to escape all the world's strife.
But for me, the WORST anime for me is Full Metal Alchemist, Trigun, The Big O, Innyuasha and s-CRY-ed. They all demean and degrade women!!

It's the best in my opinion because of the adventures the girls go through in their Highschool life, and how the teachers are as well. Yukari-sensei is one of the best teachers around. While GW had a good plot, it was lacking in some areas. The animation was good, but it was just like any other anime out there mostly.

i think i'm in love with you. azumanga daioh is SO FREAKING incredible - there were so many subtly brilliant overtones. chio-chan's father floating above the school with that ever increasing exponent, right after the commercial cut had the infinity sign in it. was he... god? time and space itself? an extra-dimensional being?

i don't know if i'd say it is the best anime i've ever seen (i'd probably say evangelion, for its mind blowing plot, flawless animation, and amazingly artistic presentation) - but i fell completely in love with azumanga.

btw the music is absolutely incredible in it too - the end of the first culture fest episode, when they're having the "victory parade", the music was so intensely beautiful that i actually started crying. a truly beautiful anime.

It totally rocks in the way that the characters are well build and they have their own personality and they live by honor and die by it. For me, that is extraordinary and excellent.
