Sure that's cool for FF 7 fans..but it's not really neccessary.
I mean honestly, you can create mods like that for just about any pc game. I remember for the original version of the Sims all the FF VI/VII/VIII skins they had. While it is kinda cool, i think somebody just had a little too much time on their hands.
Those games are fun though..i haven't played Jedi Academy but i was a big fan of Jedi Outcast.
