First REAL FF Sequel?
If anyone has seen the anime movie "Legend of the Crystals: Based on Final Fantasy", you should know that this is is really the first sequel to a final fantasy game (though obviously not the first GAME sequel). The story is split in to four 30 minute episodes.
The story takes place in the same world as Final Fantasy V though 200 years in the future. Cid and Mid are the only two reoccuring characters though descendants of both Reina and Bartz are in the anime as well. 3 of the 4 crystals have been stolen, and a new set of heroes must rise to defeat the enemy, "Deathgyunos?"
I saw this anime years ago..before FF V was released here so at the time i had no idea this was actually a sequel to the game. I'm gonna try to find the movies and rewatch them to get a final verdict.
If anyone has seen them, do you have any opinions?
