The online version of Dirge of Cerberus was cut out of the american release version. However, you can still see scene cuts from the online version on such sites as youtube.

The idea behind the failed, and now defunct, online mod of Dirge was that you were a newly selected member of DeepGround selected by President ShinRa himself. Through missions with and against other soldiers you would seek out gil, medals, and promotions to advance in the game. It even included head to head, deathmatch style play.

In many of the cut scenes available in the online mode there are encounters with known Dirge characters, such as the Tsviets Shelke the Transparent and Azul the Cerulean. But there are ALSO encounters with characters that are unique to the Online game...such as Tsviets member Argento (who wears stylized silver armor wit hthe old 'SOLDIER' ankh emblem on the breast plate in red, seems to use a large sword as her main weapon, and whos name means 'silver' in latin and italian) a mysterious black armored figure known as the Restrictor (who gives off a kind of 'Darth Vader'-ish vibe really) and what appears to be a member of SOLDIER complete with the blue uniform and shoulder pads whos main weapon seems to be a machine gun.

With the death of the online version, these characters are essentially lost. From what I can tell they only exist in these snippets and clips scattered throughout the net.

Does anyone have any information they can offer as it pertains to Argento, Restrictor, and the unknown SOLDIER?
