I definatly agree with that. I think the biggest mistake that Nintendo made was to release the N64 as a cartridge based system, when everyone else was going to CD. I understand that the had their reasons but it was that decision that made a number of the game producers and game players jump to Sony. That seems to have carried over into the gamecube generation, people were just use to buying the PSX and liked their games so many stuck to it.

Who is gonna pay six-hundred bucks for a game console? Well me, but that's not the point! When Christmas comes aropund and the parents are shopping for a game console, which one do you think they'll buy? The $600 PS3, the $300 360, or the one-hundred semod dollar Wii? You guessed it. The Wii.

This also seems very likely to me. I think that the PS3 has made a mistake by creating their console with blue-ray technology and driving the prices sky high (I mean come on $600, I'd rather buy a desktop computer.) My guess is that many people will buy the Wii at 250$ or the Xbox 360 which just dropped to 300$. I myself am for sure going with the Wii because nintendo makes the best games in my mind.
Here's a question what are your favorite Nintendo games (both games by nintendo and games on a nintendo system)? I really enjoy the old school games such as Kid Icarus, Super mario 3, FFIV, and pretty much any zelda game.
