Astos is the fake king that lives in the Chaos Shrine. If you give him the Crown that can be found in the Marsh Cave, Astos changes and becomes a Dark Elf, and then you have to fight him. The Chaos Shrine is loceted North of the Marsh Cave, I think, and Northwest of Elfheim.
