You know, I don't think everyone hates us as much as we like to think they do. Think about it, people in Equador have their own lives to worry about, why would they waste their time hating and bitching about us? It seems like a matter of self-importance to me. We're so damned important that everyone has to be thinking about us all the time, even if it's hatred.
Sure we have the people who genuinely DO hate us, those crazy guys in the middle east who would turn me into a spot on the sidewalk if they could, but really, I don't think the entire world really gives a shit. Now, they probably see us as foolish, stupid little cretins fattening ourselves up while putting up a standard to health that is near impossible while consuming the SHIT we sell to our citizens. But hate? Nah.
Anyway. Yeah. While it's all a shame that we do such foolish things.... It's going to take something major to quell all of it.
