^^ bahamut is not a summon in the game, its an airship, as are shiva and ifrit etc. all the 'normal' summons do not appear in XII. instead there are 13 new summons based on the zodiac (the 13 is the ultimate one). so yea the fire one isnt ifrit
also, u cant control the summons they are NPC's, they just come along and fight next to u
