Wooo! It's that time again! The World Cup is fast approaching, and I have a sneaking suspicion that nobody cares! Well, at least not on this board, but I could be wrong. Those of you that are American don't have much to cheer for, and neither do we in Canada. At least the USA made it.
That's okay, I just cheer for Portugal instead, who actually lost to the friggin Americans in '02. I'm still traumatized.
Personally, I really don't know much about football, I'm kind of like the people that go to church only on Easter and Christmas. I pay little to no attention to the European leagues and only care to watch the World Cup. Mind you, all I've been hearing in the past few months is that "Brazil is without question going to win".
So, anyone care to disagree? Thoughts? Predictions for who's going to take each group? Matches that will be interesting to watch?
