Hmm, I dun' like it.

Sorry, but I don't. Not being nasty, but it doesn't look like two hours of work has been put into this. It has no texture, the smudging makes it look horrible, and it seriously needs colour to it.
For drawings like this, a good black pen would do the world of good. Just the outline of the stem and petals, and instead of colour-shading, do some cross-hatching, which is basically doing loadsa light lines where there should be shade, and then do some more, crossing the other lines, and emphasis that technique more in the darker areas. That'll look pretty decent even without colour, and it'll still be simple, and tidy at the same time. Then if you wanna colour it, use different shades of red pencil, or scan it in and CG it.
Use pencil, very lightly before using the pen, though, so if you make any mistakes, rub it out and then fix it. Then use the pen to go over the pencil, and when you've done that, use your rubber on it to get rid of any pencil marks still visible.
