Honestly?
I think it's because women are more comfortable with their sexuality (on a whole) than men are. I mean, women judge/check out/look at other women all the time. We can say "oh, she's hot" and there's no social retrobution for it. None. At worst, a few guys might get turned on.
(Typically speaking, of course)
Now with men, there seems to be that stigma of Crap... but what if they think I'm gay?????. That is why (to me) men have a hard time saying if another guy is dressed will or not. I can't even begin to count how many times a guy friend has mentioned something and then quickly added "But I'm not gay or anything!!!"
I dunno... I think guys just need to relax a little about being labelled a gay dude. That's just what I see in my personal experiences.
