Yes! I thought they recovered their HP another way because when mine got hurt, they mysteriously recovered health while I was running around and battling. I knew there was another way but I wasn't too sure of what it was. You can either heal them with G-Potion in battle, use a tent/cottage or just walk around to heal them. It's pretty cool.
