Theyre the channels i avoid nowadays. Does anyone remember when MTV used to show Celebraty Deathmatch? That thing with the boxing plastercine models? Aaah, good times! Now look at it. Continuous showings of the top 10 pop acts, and 20000 showings of boring reality shows.

Luckily MTV2 is my haven. Indie and rock. Few shows, lottsa music and it's introduced me to great bands. Zane Lowe's Gonzo is a great show, funny, band interviews, music videos and gives up and comming new bands a chance to show themselves. If it wasnt for them, where would Maximo Park or The Futureheads be now? (Well, it was NME's contribution too, but MTV2 had the videos)

The few decent channels left are this, VH2, Q (though its slowly becoming chavinised..nooo..) and The Amp if youre into Indie/Alternitive, and Scuzz if your into heavier stuff. Theres a few decent pop channels (i wouldnt know since i avoid them ) where they play music and no lame shows, but the famous ones are dead
