Her shoes made a clicking noise as she walked down the hallway.I wonder how Squalls handeling Edea's death...Rinoa sighed.She had hoped that she could learn more about being a soceress from her.From the way that her death sounded it seemed like an accident.They had recieved the news earlier this morning.They had said that she was trying to fix up the old house and that she had fallen off the roof and hit the rocks below.Rnoa flinched and stoped walking.It was a very grusome thought and one she'd rather not see in her mind.
Rinoa opened the door to the old headmaster's office.It was now Squall's due to the fact that Headmaster Cid had died just two years earlier.Such a good man.,she thought,and a great loss to all of us.She walked in slowly and closed the door behind her.When she turned around she saw that he was sitting at the desk with his head in his hands.She walked over twords him, her steps muffled by the carpet.As she got closer Squall lifted up his head and stood up."Rinoa...",he said as he walked to the side of the desk,"I didn't hear you come in.When did you get back?"
"I just heard.I came straight back.",her face was solemn,"I was with Quistis at the Research Facility.How are you coping?" She leaned twords him and put her hand on his cheast.He put his hand on hers and smiled weakly.
"I'm doing fine.", he said as heput his hand down.He walked twords the window and stared out,"I just want to visit the place for a while."
Rinoa clapped her hands and smiled,"Well then, let's go!" She grabbed his hand and pulled him twords the door.
"Bu..But how?"Squall asked, surprised,"Selphie's on a mission and she's the only one that can drive the Ranganark."
Rinoa looked at him and smiled as they got in the elevator," Selphie gave me a couple lessons before she left."Rinoa pressed a button that took them to the newly added hanger."Just wait!"
Uh-oh...,thought Squall,as the elevator climbed upward,I'm in for a rough ride..
