I think Final Fantasy X-2 is the most underrated Final Fantasy ever. It has been very widely despised and criticised by conservative RPG connoisseurs, and singled out for criticism. The gameplay and battle system were overlooked, and feminist fangirls were complaining about T&A content. I really like the Final Fantasy X-2 soundtrack, which many despise. Final Fantasy X-2 was scored by Noriko Matsueda and Takahito Eguchi, the same composers who scored The Bouncer. Hitoshi Sakimoto, who has scored Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII, is nothing like those two video game musicians. Some of the tracks resemble the style of Pat Metheny Group. Final Fantasy X-2 soundtrack also has some catchy rhythms.
