...I didn't have a problem with that, and I just re-created a whole thread with multiple spaces, as well as a couple of posts in the Post Reply page.
It seems you and I are having opposite problems. The Post Reply page is being lame for you, and the Quick Reply box is being a jerk to me. My issue is that, at least in Firefox (I haven't tested IE), when I write a new post via QR, the page doesn't update after hitting the submit button.
Maybe it's a browser issue for you as well?
