As Patient 520 is escorted by the asylum guards to the holodeck, a strong sense of panic and fear begins to overwhelm him. He begins to struggle violently, trying to escape. Normally, he would be sedated upon reaching this condition, however, this time, it he was better left unsedated for the task he was about to perform. As the guards tightened the straps and began to wire him into the holodeck, he took a deep breath and realized that he needed to be as sane as possible in order to reach his ultimate goal....freedom. After all was hooked up and ready to go, he looked over at the holodeck operator and began laughing hysterically.

Somewhere in the middle of this laughter, Patient 520 was initiated into the cyber realm. In what seemed like a flash, he saw a room which must have been tucked deep into his subconscious mind. The room was built of what appeared to be old, mold covered brick. The walls were damp and the ceiling was dripping. The floor was splattered with blood and judging by the looks of it, it had been there for a very long time.

The room was very dark and somewhat difficult to see in. The only thing keeping it from being complete darkness was the exposed and swinging, flickering light bulb, hanging by a chain in the middle of the room. Then there was that dreaded sound...the awful sound of what could only be described as a rusty, metal against concrete sound. Clearly, it was a machine of some sort. When the light swayed, it showed the object behind the horrible sounds.

Spinning in the darkness was a large saw blade, rusty and though not very sharp, it was at the same time not very welcoming. The sound alone was enough to make anyone walk quickly in the opposite direction. On the other side of the room, there was a thick log chain hanging from the ceiling...on the end was a large hook, which was not rusty in the least bit. Seeing that the hook was not worn meant one of two things....it was never used, or it was used often....and recently. Something appeared in the shadows then.

At a towering 6'11", stood the frightening "Unknown"...lurking in the shadows. As the light swayed, it showed him there...looking about the room, emotionless. With that stomach turning outfit...the surgeon's mask...the scrubs...the apron...all splattered with various shades of blood and torn by who knows what, he looked as though he belonged in that unspeakable chamber. As he slowly made his was around the edge of the room, blanketed by the shadows, one could hear the sound of his hand running against those cold, moist bricks. After several minutes, the sound stopped and "Unknown" began to walk towards the center of the room.

As he approached, another horrible sound could be heard...far worse than the saw blade in the corner of the chamber. As he walked closer to the light, the source became clear. It was a drill. Centered in his chest plate, spinning violently with those rusty shards of metal becoming a blur from the rotation speeds. The man stopped and looked down at it with his horrifying, pure white eyes.

It seemed Patient 520 was equipping him with the set known as The Deranged. The drill came to a hault as the terror focused on the Unknown's face. As it came completely clear, it was truely a dreaded sight to be seen. Made of blackened metal decorated with rust, was the clamping jaw-like device, which was open. The Unknown touched the device, examining it with his hands.

He felt the sharp, rusty, and jagged metal shards which represented teeth of some kind and removed his hand from the device. The jaw then slammed closed and violently jerked back and forth in a grinding motion. When this gruesome display of function stopped, the Unknown tilted his head to the side, cracking his neck to become used to the weight of the object now on his face. Something was appearing in his right hand now and as it came to surface, it was clear what it was and quite possibly the most terrifying thing in his current possession. It was a large, blood splattered chainsaw, which was already running in his hand...the idle sound was enough to turn anyone's blood to ice just by hearing it.

This chainsaw was attached to a chain, which was attached to the Unknown's wrist. Obviously, this saw could be thrown at an opponent while running, though not a very accurate attack, it could be potentially deadly if it were to come in contact with it's target. Now completely equipped, the Unknown walked up to the light and was exposed completely. He tilted his head down and closed his eyes. For several moments, all that could be heard was the sound of the saw blade and the idle of the chainsaw in his right hand.

In a burst of complete insanity, the Unknown flung his head back, exposing those chilling white eyes. In one brutal and quick motion, he let out a terrifying scream. The drill on his stomach spun at mind numbing speeds, the jaw jerking violently back and forth. He gave the chainsaw full throttle and began swinging it about on the chain. The chamber was now filled with the terrible noise of the chainsaw and the God-awful sight of the lunatic in the center of the room, mindlessly swinging the chainsaw about in a rage.

The Unknown was ready to do what he has always done...fullfill yet another one of his director's desires by what he was sure to be a violent and guesome ending...
