Shan'do Spike takes classes from Quistis - (lv 2)
Lex looked at Reztes, not concealing his smirk in any way.

“What a shallow young man, “ he thought to himself, “I hope I’m in the right place. I didn’t end up in some sort of poetry contest here, did I?” He began to speak to his opponent, “Excuse me, did I by chance end up at a poetry contest. That was an excellent little poem: pity for you that it will never come to fruition. I shall give you advice though, before you are consumed like all those before you and like all those after you shall be. Stick to your roots. If you enjoy writing your little bardic fairy tales, I invite you to traverse the countryside reciting them. If not, please, refrain from your poetry in the ring.”

Lex gave a small chuckle, obviously amused with himself, and reached his hand down and grabbed the sword. As he grabbed it, a cold chill ran through his body. His eyes darted to the sword. It was fighting against its container. He grabbed the blade and tried to tap into its energy.

“Shiva, goddess of night, summon the energies—the time is right! Moon Beam!”

The sword began to vibrate. A portal from the demon world began to open slowly. Then, as if in mutiny, the portal began to close. The sword promptly stopped its vibrating. Lex looked down with a perplex look.

“I see…it has begun to mutiny. I guess I will have to rely on my own skill for this battle. It is no matter. I’m just fighting a bard here.”

Lex smirked again and reached for the sword, not attempting to channel the power inside of it. He slashed at the feet of Reztes; Reztes quickly jumped over the blade. His jab to the chest was easily blocked. Finally, he jumped into the air, rising about 10 feet and brought the blade down. The silver hilt glistened in the beauty of the sun. The pure beauty was about to leave death upon the floor. He raised his sword to his head and then slowly began to lower it until it was at his feet. He began his descent towards his opponent's inevitable doom with confidence.
