It was a funny sight watching Bloodaxe swing his blade wildly at the young rift seekers whom were avoiding his attacks in the similar fashion Valkyarc's armor defended itself; the diamagnetic properties in their tough skin allowing them to swiftly evade his battleaxe and then disappear through the portals. Thoughtless puppets they were, quickly jumping at the chance to escape the undead warrior's grasp. Valkyarc just shook his head at their quick getaway and painfully listened to his opponent babbling unintelligent insults. At the same time, Valkyarc was somewhat surprised by the shield Bloodaxe had raised around himself; it had held against his power and was almost successful if he hadn't thrown the wave at full strength. Still, he knew this was going to become more intense within the minutes that passed them by. For him, the war had just begun.
Throwing off a burning piece of clothing and weaving more arrogant words together, Bloodaxe had finally readied himself to begin this showdown before Valkyarc sensed other insignificant being draw near and rushed through the gate to surround his opponent. They were simple foot-soldiers within the Master's organization and Valkyarc raised a brow confused as to why they would interrupt his battle so foolishly. He had not sent word for any kind of backup. They must've been on patrol nearby and heard the commotion inside the tower.
Once the arrival of the full unit of soldiers gathered, Valkyarc suddenly felt a dark power just about throw his body back from the velocity of its strength and watched as the flies were disintegrated within the mass. It was a powerful aura that combined itself with their screams of demise and the lacerating of souls, slowly fading away to reveal the rotting corpses of horrible mutilation. It made him feel nauseous at the raunchy smell of their rotting flesh only adding an uglier spice of death to the even more repelling odor of his enemy. However, the ability displayed by Bloodaxe was an interesting sight to see though he wasn’t entirely impressed. What was strange was how calm Valkyarc continued to act as he showed no signs of fear or doubt from what just happened, simply noting the effects of the ability into his memory and watching what Bloodaxe was going to do next.
'About damn time,' Valkyarc thought as his enemy finally turned towards him with anxious anticipation, he quickly reacting to the axes thrown by standing still and allowing them to hit the diamagnetic field and then bounce off in a random direction. Then, at the moment Bloodaxe rushed forward charging, Valkyarc let out his own battle-roaring scream with his violent violet aura bursting from without his body in an explosion of power; the energy on the floor underneath his feet rippling at his increase strength like the waves of a raging tsunami. Unknown to Bloodaxe, another stone on the white face of his sword was beginning to glow in flashes of bright light as it fed off his aura until illuminating with the first stone in a constant gaze once at full power.
Intensely, Valkyarc watched how far of distance Bloodaxe's was running, calculating it down to the very inch. 'Thirteen feet...twelve feet...eleven feet...NOW!' He yelled to himself just as his eyes flushed with power and used his temporary Pillar of Energy abilities to fire out hundreds of thin energy spears up towards Bloodaxe's knee to stop his rampage or at least trip him. Quickly, so he wouldn't waste any time from the distraction of the floor-traps effect, Valkyarc bent down and flipped high up above Bloodaxe as a huge portal opened and the head of a giant rift seeker peeked into the current dimension and peered down onto the only prey in the room. Unlike its brothers and sisters before it, the rift seeker was almost three times their side with wide open jaws as tall as Bloodaxe himself.
"Meet their big brother!" Valkyarc yelled out as he jumped onto the rift seeker's neck and quickly shot out a sphere of holy magic in Bloodaxe's direction. At the same time, the dragon bellowed out a powerful blaze of fire that merged with the holy sphere much like what had happened before, but this time it was like as large as a rain cloud that wanted to soak Bloodaxe in a burning heavenly hell.
Waiting a few seconds for the attack to find its victim, Valkyarc ran down the rift seeker's neck, onto his head, and jumped off with his sword over his head once more. His own attack had begun.
Letting out another guttural scream, Valkyarc swung his blade at the last known spot Bloodaxe had been running, the intensity of his invisible wave tremendously more powerful then the first as it tore through the cloud of flames and threw Valkyarc flying upwards. He could almost touch the ceiling when he was at the height of the momentum created by his swing and slowly rolled backwards through the air until he landed on the wall. Now let's try something new! he thought to himself as he jumped off the wall with all his might and swung his sword uncontrollably in Bloodaxe's direction.
By forming into a ball and swinging his sword as hard as he could, Valkyarc had created a constant spinning attack, throwing wave after wave at almost every inch in his enemy's vicinity. Ceilings crushed inwards, walls cracked in two, and the floor looked like it was being sliced open from the pounding of invisible waves, which now are being swung at one thousand five hundred and twenty three miles per hour—supersonic speed.
Eventually, Valkyarc knew he couldn't keep this up and its strength died out, dropping to the ground still about fifteen feet away from Bloodaxe's position, feeling very wobbly. To counter the affect, he flipped backwards a few times to slowly balance himself out. It barely took five seconds before he balanced himself out into a stance and now waited for everything to unfold. Clouds of fire and evaporated energy were hiding the destruction from view.
