You must be playing DoS. I would suggest waiting to play the 4 additional dungeons (earthgift, hellfire, whisperwind, and the one in the sea) after you put all four crystals where they go. You take the Levistone to the desert that is south of the town where you get the canoe and east of the town where you get the Mystic Key. Use the levistone IN the desert. Take the Rats Tail to Bahamut in the archipelago of islands that is southwest of the citadel of trials. Use the levistone to get the aiship and use the airship to get to Bahamut.
