Doubtful. There are several reasons:
The story seemed well finished at the end off FFT.
Several of the main characters died.
The primary antagonists were all defeated and/or killed.
However, fans of FFT are eagerly awaiting the PSP remake. And are eyeing FFTA-2 with hope that it will be more like FFT than FFTA was.
