Name: Aria Schneider

Race/Origin: The Land of Ram'Stial in the Camulus Star-Cluster

Era: 100 A.C. (After Camulus)

Appearance: A beautiful, slim woman of about apparant age of twenty five. Though mostly human in appearance her pale gray flesh and striking golden hair, cut to just below her ears mark her as something else. If nothing else her strange white, pupil-less right eye is most telling of her heritage. Over her left eye she wears an ornate patch with a stylized golden eye set there upon.

To compliment her fair complexion she wears tight white breeches, white boots, white gloves, and a beautifully embrodered and gold studded sky blue waistcoat. She carries herself with a calculated grace that speaks of great nobility while at the same time under-scoring her lynx like musculature.

Family: Sister (?) to Canticle Schneider, whom she often quarrels with.

Magic: A master of the element of Wind, she uses her control of the atmosphere in any element to increase her speed, the thrust of her attacks, kick up dust and ice storms (depending o nthe climate) and even allow herself to fly. Though she can use her magics in very precise and telling fashion, it is said her Brother has the bulk of the raw magical talent between the two.

Skills: Using her power over the wind she can augment her weapons, spreading posions into the air, hurling a tornado of blades at an adversary, or even blades made from the very air itself. One of her most telling techniques is the ability to thrust with her Symphoney and cleave out the heart of an adversary several yards away. The sound the blade makes when it is used thusly is how it got its name.

Weapon: Symphony - A flexible rapier made of a special metal alloy that increases the strength of the blade, allowing it to bend but making it near impossible to break. The reflective surface is capable of confounding most light based spells, allowing it the unique ability to reflect some magics. The ornatly worked gaurd of the weapon protects its mistress dainty hand far better than the gloves she wears.

Daggers - A set of un-named daggers that can be weilded singley, in pairs, thrown, or otherwise manipulated when Symphoney does not prove to be enough.

Poisons - In the form of powders or vials of liquid, sometimes the only way to down a superior opponenet is to first disable them and then go in for the kill. The poisons range in effect from mere blindness, to loss of the ability to properly breath and even limited paralysis...costly detriments in battle.

Canticle Schneider

Race/Origin: The Land of Ram'Stial in the Camulus Star-Cluster

Era: 100 A.C. (After Camulus)

Appearance: A hulking stooped brute of a man. Shorter than his sister while stooped but easily taller than her and most other creatures when standing at his full height. Like most of the males of his people, his body fairly ripples with muscle beneath his dark gray flesh speaking of incredible physical power. Over his imposing form are draped grey, brown, and even green furs from slain beasts, adding to his opposing physical presence. Every inch of his body and clothing seem covered in a fine dust...most of which seems to smudge his bare feet and black nailed hands.

His hair, less golden and more a pale blond than his sisters hangs in lank, discheveled locks down his back making an almost lionian mein. This illusionan is enforced by his broad jaw and scared face. His mosty grevious wound he does not bother to hide...his right eye socket lies vacant...though oddly enough there is no scaring or sign of any kind of burns, as is the eye was plucked from the skull without any undue force. An air of savage intellegence is about the lionian countenence, as if capable of deep thought most mortel men would never dare to contemplate.

Family: Brother (?) to Aria Schneider, whom he openly dislikes.

Magic: Lord over the element of earth, his magical prowess is raw and unyeildingly strong. Able to errect mountains, create massive pits, summon up the techtonic forces of the earth and those things they effect such as geysers, steam, lava, and even the magnetic forces triggered by the planets influence. Truly a powerful mage, he can even make molten and processed earth bend to his will with the proper incantation.

Skills: Using his powers over the earth he can send out a pulse to give him a general over view of the area, both above and (in more detail) below the surface. He can form rock around his body to form a protective armor and augment his strength. He can also form any weapon he likes from the earth, weapons only he can weild, which is why often he will be seen unarmed until he envokes his craft.

Weapon: Canticle uses no weapons save what he can form fro mthe earth. When there is not enough time for magic he will resort to his own, massive brute strength.

Background: 100 years ago, the Planet Camulus was at the height of its civilization. A realm of many varied species, incredible magics, and startilingly beautiful landscape had enjoyed over 3000 years of peace. It seemed as though this peace would last for another 3000 years under the rulership of the great Elemental Mages of Camulus, the Eluminati. However, this was not the destiny fate had planned.

100 years ago the Planet Camulus was ripped to peices. The magical forces of the land had drawn the attention of mysterious beings from another dimension. These creatures, similar in appearance to the primary race of Camulus, approached first as friends...challenging the Eluminati to a friendly contest of skill. The leader of these pan-dimensional travelers, however, had a hunger only for destruction...a destruction he unleashed upon the Eluminati, whos powers did little to stop him.

One Eluminati, though, stood his ground to protect his land...only to be ripped in twain when the leader of the dimension walkers summoned up his dark God to ravage the lands. Without any further protectors, ravage the land he did, shattering the planet into thousnads of peices. Believing the realm destroyed the dimension walkers, thankfully, left. They did not notice the few large floating islands that were still habitable by the now almost destroyed Camulus races.

The magic of the land, hurt, but not dead, bound the peices of the planet together, and though there was dramatic climate shift and many deaths, the people of the planet banded together to try and forge a new home. War, naturally, broke out in this time of strife, but after a period of 50 years things seemed mostly settled. The people of Camulus still suffer, but they continue to seek desperately for a way to heal their homeland...and to survive.

Aria and Canticle Schneider are powerful mages born to their people who existed before Camulus was shattered and helped to found the floating forest land of Ram'Stial. Using their power over the elements, they helped to gather more and more earth and air to their land, increasing its size and resources until Ram'Stial again began to resemble its former glory. Little other than their relationship is known of the brother and sister otherwise and it is suspected that their names are merely assumed alias's. Their origin is a mystery, but the reason for this may lay in the fact neither enjoy the subject of the other and tend to work seperately safe when the need is truly dire.

When the need DOES arise however, their combined might is truly staggering.

Combined Abilities:
Aria and Canticle can harness their mastery of the elements to unleash a massive opposition Earth/Air spell that sends millions of bolts of lightning down to meet a churning, rising earth of spikes. This is perhaps their most powerful technique, but drains them both of the ability to use magic for a short time after wards. When envoked, strange glyphs begin to glow on the right side of Canticle's body and the left side of Aria's. It has been said that from time to time the two will seemingly combine...and become a completely different being all together reminiscent of a time long past...
