Hmmm, I'm a little ahead of you, but I would say I would play a bit more to open more of the world map. And when that happened, what I did was I walked around leveled up and stole. So it feels a bit less monotonous. Sorry that this doesn't give you a specific area. Dragon Peak may be a good one, since there's phoenix downs to steal, while leveling up. Hope this helps.
