Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy XIII is the first installment in the best-selling series of role-playing games from Square Enix to appear on the PlayStation 3. Final Fantasy XIII appears to go back to the basics that have made the series so popular, but of course with the full-capabilities of the Sony Playstation.
Motomu Toriyama, who directed Final Fantasy X-2, will serve as main director for the game. The storyline, according to Square Enix President Yoichi Wada, will focus on "those who resist the world." The intentions for the feel of Final Fantasy XIII were defined through the phrase "Fabulla Nova Crystalis," and Square Enix appears to have plans for the game in the same vein as the Final Fantasy VII compilation.
In addition, SE has also announced two other Final Fantasy XIII titles, Final Fantasy Agito 13 and Final Fantasy Versus 13.
